3. Check the terminals and connectors of the data link connector for damage, bend and loose connection
(connector side and harness side).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 2.
NO >> Repair the terminal and connector.
2.CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
Check the resistance between the data link connector terminals.
Is the measurement value within the specification?
YES (Present error)>>Check the CAN system type decision again.
YES (Past error)>>Error was detected in the data link connector branch line circuit.

Check the power supply and the ground circuit of the EPS control unit. Refer to STC-9, "

YES (Present error)>>Replace the EPS control unit. Refer to ST-9, "Removal and Installation".

3.CHECK POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check the power supply and the ground circuit of the Intelligent Key unit. Refer to SEC-37, "
INTELLIGENT
KEY UNIT : Diagnosis Procedure".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES (Present error)>>Replace the Intelligent Key unit. Refer to SEC-79, "Removal and Installation".
