(a) Disconnect the E9 or E10 ECM, C10 and A13 or A15 ECU
connectors.
(b) Check the resistance between wire harness side connec-

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
DTCs B1214 and B1215 are output when +B and the body ground is short±circuited on the communication
bus. Detecting this condition disables all the BEAN communication and outputs some DTCs.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
Disconnect connectors in operational sequence and start the next operation after the connector is
connected.
1 CHECK DTC (THEFT WARNING ECU ASSY)
(a) Check whether the outputs of the DTC stops when the theft warning ECU connector is disconnected.
HINT:
When the output of the DTC stops, the theft warning ECU is malfunctioning.
