4. CHECK BCM OUTPUT VOLTAGE
With CONSULT-II
1. Connect BCM connector.
2. Select “BCM” on CONSULT-II. Select “FLASHER” on “SELECT TEST ITEM” screen.
3. Select “ACTIVE TEST” on “SELECT DIAG MODE” screen.
4. Select “FLASHER” on “SELECT TEST ITEM” screen.
5. Touch “LH” screen.
6. When turn signal lamp LH is operating, check voltage between
BCM harness connector and ground.
Without CONSULT-II
1. Connect BCM connector.
2. Turn signal switch is turned LH position.
3. When turn signal lamp LH is operating, check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 5.
NG >> Replace BCM. Refer to BCS-16, "
Removal and Installation of BCM" .

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check continuity between front combination lamp LH harness
connector and ground.
3. Check continuity between side turn signal lamp LH harness con-
nector and ground.
4. Check continuity between rear combination lamp LH harness
connector and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> Check turn signal lamps LH bulbs.
NG >> Repair harness or connector.

1. CHECK CIRCUIT BETWEEN HAZARD SWITCH AND BCM
1. Select “BCM” on CONSULT-II, and select “FLASHER” on “SELECT TEST ITEM” screen.
2. Select “DATA MONITOR” on “SELECT DIAG MODE” screen.
Make sure that “HAZARD SW” turns ON-OFF according to haz-
ard switch operation.
OK or NG
OK >> Replace BCM. Refer to BCS-16, "Removal and Installa-
tion of BCM" .
NG >> GO TO 2.
2. CHECK BCM OUTPUT VOLTAGE
Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> Replace BCM. Refer to BCS-16, "Removal and Installa-

NG >> GO TO 3.
3. CHECK HAZARD SWITCH

1. CHECK UNIFIED METER AND A/C AMP.
1. Select “METER A/C AMP” on CONSULT-II, and perform self-
diagnosis for “METER A/C AMP”.
2. Check if malfunction is indicated.
Is malfunction indicated?
YES >> Repair or Replace malfunctioning parts.
NO >> GO TO 2.
2. CHECK CIRCUIT BETWEEN COMBINATION SWITCH AND BCM
1. Select “METER A/C AMP” on CONSULT-II.
2. Select “DATA MONITOR” on “SELECT DIAG MODE” screen.
Make sure that “TURN IND” turns ON-OFF according to turn sig-
nal switch operation.
OK or NG
OK >> Replace combination meter. Refer to DI-25, "Disassem-
bly and Assembly of Combination Meter" .
NG >> Replace unified meter and A/C amp. Refer to DI-34,
"Removal and Installation of Unified Meter and A/C
Amp." .

1. PERFORM BCM ACTIVE TEST

1. Remove side turn signal lamp. Refer to LT- 1 7 5 , "Removal and Installation" .
2. Turn bulb socket counterclockwise and unlock it.
3. Remove bulb.
FRONT TURN SIGNAL LAMP

SIDE TURN SIGNAL LAMP
Removal
1. While pressing side turn signal lamp to direction A (vehicle
front), pull it to direction B and then remove it.
2. Disconnect side turn signal lamp connector.
NOTE:
Support side turn signal lamp harness with tape so that it won't
fall into the front fender.
CAUTION:
Install the side turn signal lamp housing with the bead fac-
ing up.
Installation
Installation is the reverse order of removal.
FRONT TURN SIGNAL LAMP
Refer to LT- 3 6 , "Removal and Installation" .
REAR TURN SIGNAL LAMP

REMOVAL
1. Remove steering column cover. Refer to IP-10, "INSTRUMENT
PANEL ASSEMBLY" .
2. While pressing pawls in direction as shown in the figure, pull
lighting and turn signal switch toward driver door and disconnect
from the base.
INSTALLATION
Installation is the reverse order of removal.
