1. Install a new O-ring on the ISS sensor.
2. Install the ISS sensor and retaining bolt into the transaxle case.
Tighten: Ti
ghten the ISS sensor retaining bolt to 5.4 N.m (48 lb in).
IMPORTANT: Lubricate the O-ring with ISU DEXRON III.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice
in Cautions and Notices.

2. Disconnect the output shaft speed (OSS) sensor electrical connector.

2. Install the OSS sensor and retaining bolt into the transaxle.

IMPORTANT: Lubricate the O-ring with T-IV Automatic Transmission Fluid GM P/N
88900925 (Canadian P/N 22689186).
