REGLAGE DU JEU DE SOUPAPES
VENTILSPIEL EINSTELLEN
AJUSTE DE LA HOLGURA DE LA VÁLVULA
6. Monter:
Toutes les pièces enlevées
N.B.:
Remettre toutes les pièces enlevées en
place dans l’ordre inverse de leur
dépose.
Monter le tendeur de la chaîne de
distribution.
Se reporter à la section “ARBRES
A CAMES” du CHAPITRE 4.
N.B.:
Faire tourner plusieurs fois le vilebre-
quin dans le sens inverse des aiguilles
d’une montre afin que les composants
se mettent en place correctement.
Vérifier une nouvelle fois le jeu de
soupapes.
Si le jeu reste incorrect, suivre à
nouveau les étapes du réglage du
jeu de soupapes jusqu’à obtention
du jeu spécifié.

Alle ausgebauten Teile in umgekehr-
ter Reihenfolge montieren.
Steuerkettenspanner montieren.
Siehe unter “NOCKENWELLE”
im KAPITEL 4.
HINWEIS:
Die Nockenwelle mehrmals gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn drehen, damit
sich die Bauteile richtig anpassen.
Ventilspiel nochmals kontrollie-
ren.
Entspricht die Messung nicht
dem Sollwert, muß die Einstel-
lung wiederholt werden, bis das
vorgeschriebene Ventilspiel er-
reicht ist.
6. Instalar:
Todas las piezas extraídas
NOTA:
Instale todas las piezas extraídas en el
orden inverso al proceso de extracción.
Instale el tensador de la cadena de
distribución.
Consulte el apartado “ÁRBOLES
DE LEVAS” del CAPÍTULO 4.
NOTA:
Gire el árbol de levas hacia la
izquierda varias veces de forma que
se asienten las piezas instaladas en su
posición correcta.
Vuelva a comprobar la holgura de
la válvula.
Si la holgura de la válvula todavía
es incorrecta, repita nuevamente
todos los pasos de ajuste de la hol-
gura hasta obtener la holgura espe-
cificada.

SPARK ARRESTER CLEANING (For USA)
WARNING
Be sure the exhaust pipe and muffler are
cool before cleaning the spark arrester.
Do not start the engine when cleaning the
exhaust system.
1. Remove:

Pull the spark arrester out of the muf-
fler.

3. Clean:

Tap the spark arrester lightly, then use
a wire brush to remove any carbon
deposits.
4. Install:

Insert the spark arrester into the muffler
and align the bolt holes.

Schalldämpfer einführen
und die Bohrungen aufein-
adner ausrichten.

le pot d’échappement et aligner
les orifices de boulon.

WARNING
Bleed the brake system if:
The system has been disassembled.
A brake hose has been loosened or
removed.
The brake fluid is very low.
The brake operation is faulty.
A dangerous loss of braking performance
may occur if the brake system is not prop-
erly bled.
1. Remove:
Master cylinder cap
Diaphragm
Reservoir float (front brake)
Protector (rear brake)
2. Bleed:
Brake fluid

Air bleeding steps:
a. Add proper brake fluid to the reservoir.
b. Install the diaphragm. Be careful not to
spill any fluid or allow the reservoir to
overflow.
c. Connect the clear plastic tube 2 tightly
to the caliper bleed screw 1.
d. Place the other end of the tube into a
container.
e. Slowly apply the brake lever or pedal
several times.
f. Pull the lever in or push down on the
pedal. Hold the lever or pedal in position.
g. Loosen the bleed screw and allow the
lever or pedal to travel towards its limit.
h. Tighten the bleed screw when the lever
or pedal limit has been reached; then
release the lever or pedal.

6 Nm (0.6 m • kg, 4.3 ft • lb)
i. Repeat steps (e) to (h) until of the air
bubbles have been removed from the
system.
