service brakes. Then shift transmission through all
gear ranges and back to PARK (leave engine run-
ning).
(7) Remove dipstick and check fluid level

Test solenoid resistance with an ohmmeter. Con-
nect the ohmmeter leads to the solenoid mounting
bracket and to the solenoid wire terminal (Fig. 10).

(1) Connect cable to throttle cam (Fig. 13).
(2) Install check ball and spring (Fig. 16).
(3) Position accumulator springs and spacers on
valve body.
