(1) Rotate side gears until pinion gears are located
at the differential case opening. Remove gears.
(2) Remove side gears and thrust washers.

by immersing in a hot fluid. The temperature should
not exceed 149ÉC (300ÉF).Do not use a torch to
heat the ring gear.

shim stock at each end of the arbor tool. Install the
