220-240 V AC power
supplies*
220-240 V AC power supply can be used as a
power source of household appliances when
the ready indicator illuminates.CAUT,ONz Be sure to use a “plug-in” type accessory op-
erating at 230 V and at 1500 W or less.
When using more than one socket at the same time, make sure that the total power consumption of the electrical appliances
does not exceed 1500 W at 230 V.
To use
1. Press the 220-240 V AC power supply
switch. The indication lamp (A) will
come on and the power supply system is ready for use.
To cancel power supply, press the switch
again and the indication lamp will go
off.
2. Open the lid (B).

3.Insert the plug in the power outlet firm-
ly. Make sure that the plug is connected
correctly.
4. Disconnect the plug and close the lid af-
ter using the electrical appliance.
:ARN,NGz Never use the 220-240 V AC power supply
to charge an electric vehicle or a plug-in
hybrid vehicle. Also, never connect the
220-240 V AC power supply to a house-
hold powerline or a distribution panel. This may lead to an electric shock or a
malfunction.
z Do not connect or disconnect the plug
with a wet hand. Doing so can cause an
electric shock.
z Never pull the cable to remove the plug.
Pull straight while holding the plug of an electrical appliance.
z Do not disassemble or modify the 220-240
V AC power supply.:ARN,NGz When using electrical appliance while
driving, make sure that it is firmly se- cured. Flying objects entering the passen-
ger compartment during sudden braking or sharp turning could result in a serious
accident and/or injury.
Refer to “Luggage hooks” on page 8-87.
z Do not use an electrical appliance which
emits steam while the windows are closed.
Lack of visibility due to steam could lead to an accident.
z While using the 220-240 V AC power sup-
ply, even if the engine is not running, the engine may automatically start later de-pending on the condition of the Plug-in
Hybrid EV system and/or the drive bat-
tery.

CAUT,ONzWhen the 220-240 V AC power supply is
not in use, be sure to cancel power supply by pressing the 220-240 V AC power supply
switch, disconnect the plug and close the lid.
This will prevent the 220-240 V AC power
supply from becoming clogged and short cir-
cuiting.
z Do not stand behind the exhaust pipe as the
engine may automatically start depending on the condition. Heat from the exhaust could
lead to burns.
z Make sure that the plug is inserted all the
way into the 220-240 V AC power supplybefore using an electrical appliance.
z Do not use an electrical appliance in the ve-
hicle which emits heat such as a heater. Heat
damage to interior parts could result.
z Do not connect a malfunctioning electrical
appliance to the 220-240 V AC power sup-
ply. Doing so could damage the 220-240 V AC power supply.NOTEz The accessory socket and 220-240 V AC
power supplies can be used simultaneously.
Refer to “Accessory socket*” on page 8-75.
z If the plug of the electrical appliance was
loose or wobbled when inserted in the outlet, have the 220-240 V AC power supply re-
placed at a MITSUBISHI MOTORS Author-
ized Service Point.NOTEz Never leave the vehicle, perform refueling
or washing the vehicle while using the
220-240 V AC power supply.
z You may hear operating sounds such as
sounds from the cooling fan near the lug-
gage area when using the 220-240 V AC power supply. This is normal.
z Never use electrical appliance that is vulner-
able to vibration or heat in the cabin. When
exposed to strong direct sunlight, the cabin will become extremely hot. It could cause
product failure.
z Do not use the 220-240 V AC power supply
with the vehicle covered by a car cover.
z When closing the window, door or tailgate,
be careful not to trap the power supply cord.
z 220-240 V AC power supply cannot be used
in the following cases.

NOTEzThe following electrical appliance may not
operate normally even if the power con-sumption is less than 1500 W. Also be aware
that the electric power that can be used will vary depending on the drive battery condi- tion.

Downlight
The downlight illuminates when the lampswitch is in the
or position. When the
lamp switch is in the “AUTO” position the
downlight illuminates when the position
lamps illuminate.
Front foot lamps
The front foot lamps (A) come on when the front door is opened and go off when the
door is closed.

If any of the interior lamps are left switched on with the operation mode in OFF, it goes off automatically after approximately 30 mi- nutes.
The lamps will illuminate again after they au-
tomatically go off if the power switch is oper-
ated, if one of the doors or the tailgate is opened or closed, or if the keyless entry sys-
tem or keyless operation system is operated.
NOTEz The interior lamp auto-cut function can be
deactivated. The time until the lamps auto- matically go off can be adjusted. For details
and support, consult your nearest
MITSUBISHI MOTORS Authorized Serv-
ice Point.
On vehicles equipped with the Smartphone-
link Display Audio (SDA) or the Smart-
phone-link Display Audio (SDA) navigation
system, screen operations can be used to make the adjustment. Refer to the separate
owner’s manual for details.Storage spacesCAUT,ONz Never leave lighters, canned carbonated
drinks, and spectacles in the cabin when
parking the vehicle in hot sunshine. The cab- in will become extremely hot, so lighters and
other flammable items may catch fire and
unopened drink cans may rupture. Also, spectacles with plastic lenses or materials could deform or crack.
z Keep the lids of storage spaces closed while
driving the vehicle. A lid or the contents of a storage space could otherwise cause injuries.

Glove box
To open, pull the lever (A).
NOTEz When the lamps are illuminated with the
lamp switch in the “”, “”, or “AUTO”
position, the glove box lamp illuminates.
Card holder
There is a card holder inside the glove box.
Floor console box
To open the console box, lift the release lever
(A) and raise the lid.
The floor console box can also be used as an
armrest.Luggage floor box
The box for storing articles is located inside the luggage compartment.
To use the box, raise the luggage floor board (A).

To use the luggage floor box in the rear seat
side, insert your hand in the gap (B) and raise the board (A) to the seat side.:ARN,NGz Do not place any object around the “”
mark, since it marks the auxiliary battery
under the luggage floor box. If the battery cover is broken, battery fluid may leak. If it adheres to your skin or gets in youreyes, serious injury may result.:ARN,NGSunglasses holder*
To open, push the lid.
CAUT,ONz The holder should not be used to store any-
thing heavier than sunglasses. These objects
could drop out.NOTEz The holder may not be able to accomodate
every possible size and shape of sunglasses;
it is advisable to check compatibility before use.Cup holder:ARN,NGz Do not spray water or spill beverages in-
side the vehicle. If the switches, wires or electrical components become wet, they
could malfunction or cause a vehicle fire. If you accidentally spill a beverage, wipe
up as much liquid as possible and imme- diately consult a MITSUBISHI MOTORS
Authorized Service Point.CAUT,ONz Do not drink beverages while driving. This
is distracting and could cause an accident.
