and in the direction of tra vel onl y.
R Vehicles with a seat rail sy stem in theve hicle
fl oor:
- The seat/bunk combination (S/L) may
not be ins talled in combination with
bench seats.
- Passengers may use the seats only if the
re ar seat and/or rear ben chseat has
engaged cor rectly (/ page 79).

If th e indicator tab of the seat anchorage is not
re tracted into the seat leg, the seat is not cor‐
re ctly engaged. Engage the seat again. &

Foldthe EASY -ENTRY section forw ards with

Tofold the EAS Y-ENT RYsection back: fold
th e EASY -ENTRY section ba ckuntil it engages
in the seat anchorages. The indicator tab will
no longer be visible.

Place and engage the front seat anchorage of
th e EASY -ENTRY section on the seat ancho‐
ra ge s. #
Foldthe EASY -ENTRY section ba ck.
The rear seat leg of the EASY -ENTRY section
will engage audibly. The indica torta b on the
seat anchorage will no longer be visible.

If yo u mo vethe seat position outside the
mar ked area, the window airbag can no lon‐
ge r pr ovide optimum pr otection.
The pr otective ef fect of the window airbag is
gradually reduced and may in some positions
no longer be pr ovided at all. #

WARNING Risk of injury fromthe front

unoccupied. If possible, slide there ar ben chseat

lation of there ar ben chseats at the mar ked
basic position only (/ page 79).#

re ctly engaged when the seat legs engage audibly
and the indicator tabs on the seat legs are no lon‐

yo u may damage the cables and the on-board
computer may de tect the seat position incor‐

Use only rear seats with seat heating and seat
ve ntilation or luxury rear seats that we resupplied
with theve hicle. Due tothe high-quality design
and thete ch nical equipment, Mercedes-Benz rec‐
ommends that you ha veluxury rear seats ins tal‐
