When heavy objects are to be moved with the winch, using rollers and/or pul­
leys will make the job a lot easier.

2-Vaijerin lapimitta on 7.45 mm tai
vahemman
3 -Vaijerin muoto on muuttunut tai se on ruostunut 4-Kiertynyt vaijeri 5-Vaantynyt vaijeri 6-Kulunut, murtunut tai muuten va­hingoittunut koukku tai sen yh­
distyskappale vaijeriin, taipunut koukku.

Attach the hook to a nearby tree, another vehicle, etc.
Winch maintenance EJ04H·A
Even if the winch has not been used, the cable should be pulled out and the winch operated at least once a month.
INSPECTION OF THE CABLE AND HOOK
Check both the cable and the hook, and
replace under any of the following cir ­
cumstances:

11 strands of cable or more broken within a space of 6 coils 2-Cable diameter of 7.45 mm (0.26 in.) or less 3-Deformed or excessively corroded cable 4 -Bent cabl e 5-Twisted cable 6 -Worn, cracked , or otherwise dam­
aged hook and cable connection or
the hook itself, or a bent hook

tailoin myos moottorioljya kyt­
kimeen samoin kuin ohjainrullaan.
HUOM pyytakaa kerran vuodessa valtuutettua
M ITSU BISH 1-huoltokorjaamoa
lisaamaan rasvaa.
CHECKING AND REPLENISHING THE GREASE AND OIL
In order to prevent the cable from rust­
ing , once each month, or soon after use
if the cable has become wet, wipe off any water and dirt, and then coat the cable with mUltipurpose grease.
Before using the winch, remove the
bracket grease nipple, and rep len ish
with oil or multipurpose grease.
Also before using the
winch, apply en­gine oil to the clutch and the guide roller.
NOTE
Once a year,
contact an authorized MIT­SUBISHI dealer to have the grease
replenished .

Check the winch oil supply once a year.
Remove the plug; the oil should be within 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.2 in.) of the plug hole.
If there is not enough oil. or if the oil is noticeably dirty, contact an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer to have the oil re­
plenished or changed as required .

In order to maintain the value of your vehicle, it is necessary to perform regular maintenance using the proper procedures .
Carefully select the materials to be used for washing, etc., to be
sure that they do not contain corrosives ; if in doubt. contact an
authorized MITSUBISHI dealer for assistance in the selection of these materials.
& CAUTION Cleaning products can be dangerous. Some are poison­ous. Others can burst into flame if you strike a match or get them on a hot part of the vehicle. Some are dangerous if you breathe their fumes in a closed space. When you use anything in a container to clean your vehicle, be sure to follow the instructions. And always open your vehicle doors o r windows when you're cleaning the inside. Never use these to clean your vehicle:
• Gasoline 8 Carbon Tetrachloride e Turpentine
• Benzine • Acetone • Lacquer Thinner
• Naptha • Paint Thinner • Nail Polish Remover These can all be dangerous, and they all can damage your vehicle.

Muovi-, muovinahka, kangas-ym. osat HK24A -A
1 . Pyyhitiiiinkevyesti 3 %:een neu raaliin pesuliuokseen kaste­
tulia pehmeiillii sienellii tai kankaalla. 2_ Pesuliuos huuhdellaan pinnoilta huolellisesti puhtaaseen
vete en kastetulla , kuivaksi viiii nnetyilii sienellii tai
kankaalla .
Verhous HK25A-A Hyvin hoidettu verhous ja puhtaat sisiitilat vaikuttavat osaltaan auton arvon siiilymiseen.
1 .
Istuimet puhdistetaan polynimurilla tai harjalla _ Tahrautu ­
neet vinyylija keinonahkaistuimet puhdiste-aan tarkoituk­
seen sopivalla pesuaineella. Kangasosat joko kuivapestiiiin
tai puhdistetaan kiidenliimpoiseen veteen liuotetulla neu­
traalilla 3
%:lla pesuliuoksella.
2 . Matot imuroidaan ja mahdolliset tahrat poistetaan maton­
pesuaineella _ Ijy -tai rasvatahrat voidaan poistaa tahran­
poistoaineeseen kastetulla puhtaalla,
viiriiipiiiistiimiitto­miillii sienellii tai rievulla.
Cleaning the inside of your vehicle EK 23A-A
After cleaning the inside of your vehicle with water , cleaner or
similar, wipe and dry in the shady , well-ventilated area.
NOTE
Always read the instructions on the cleaner label.
Plastic. vinyl, leather. fabric and flocked parts EK24AA
1. Lightly wipe off with gauze or other soft cloth soaked with a 3% aqueous solution of neutral detergent. 2. Dip cloth in fresh water and wring out well. Using this
cloth, wipe off the detergent thoroughly.
Upholstery EK25A-A
1. To maintain the value of your new vehicle , handle the upholstery carefully and keep the interior clean.
Use a vacuum cleaner and brush to clean the seats . If stained , vinyl and synthetic leather should be_ cleaned with an appropriate cleaner, and cloth fabrics can be cleaned with either upholstery cleaner or a 3% solution of neutral
detergent in lukewarm water.
2 _ Clean the carpeting
with a vacuum cleaner and remove any
stains with carpet cleaner . Oil and grease can be remov ed
by
lightly dabbing with a clean colorfast cloth and spot
remover.

(2) Kevyet tahrat voidaan poistaa nahan puhdistusaineella . (3) Nahkapinta saattaa vahingoittua, jos sita hangataan voi­makkaasti nailonharjalla tai syntee llisella kuidulla. (4) Orgaaniset liuottimet. kuten bensiini, bentseeni ja alkoholi seka happo-ja alkaaliset liuottimet muuttavan nahan varia.
Nahan puhdistamiseen on aina kaytettava neutraalia pa­
suainetta .
(5) Nahka on huokoista ja imee helposti likaa itseensa. Erityi­
sesti bljytahroja on varottava poistettava valittbmasti. (6) Nahkapinta saattaa kovettua ja kutistua joutuessaan alt­
tiiksi liian runsaalle auringonivalolle pitkaksi aikaa. Mikali mahdollista, pysakbi auto aina varjoisaan paikkaan. (7) Helteella, auton sisalampbtilan , kohotessa, saattavat nah­
kaistuimille jatetyt muoviesineet tarttua nii hin kiinni.

Genuine Leather EK27A-A
1. Lightly wipe off with gauze or other soft cloth soaked with a 5% aqueous solution of neutral detergent for wool. 2. Dip cloth in fresh water and wring it out well. Using this
cloth, wipe off the detergent thoroughly. 3. Apply leather protecting agent to the genuine leather
surface.
NOTE
(1) If genuine leather is wet with water or is washed in water, wipe off water as quickly as possible with a dry, soft cloth. (2) Slight stains on genuine leather may be removed with leather cleaner as well. (3) The genuine leather surface may be damaged if a nylon brush or synthetic fibre is rubbed hard against it. (4) Organic solvents such as benzine, alcohol and gasoline ,
acid or alkaline solvents may discolour the genuine leather
surface. Be sure to use neutral detergents. (5) Dirty genuine leather seat may mildew. Be very careful about oil stains and remove them earlier . (6) The genuine leather surface may harden and shrink if it is
exposed to direct rays of the sun for long hours. When your vehicle is parked, place it in the shade as much as possible. (7) When the temperature of the vehicle interior rises in
summer, vinyl products left on the genuine leather seat may deteriorate and stick to the seat.
