Jyrkat nousut
Asettakaa valitsin asentoon "4LLc" (Super select 4WD) tai "4L" (osa-aika 4WD) saadaksenne suurimman mahdollisen kyodyn moottorin viiiintomomentista.
(1) Valitkaa tasaisin mahdollinen kohta noustavasta rinteestii. (2) Ajoneuvon miiennousukyky on noin 40 kuivalla rinteellii. (3) Ennen nousuyritystystii , kiivelkiiii hieman rinnettii ylospiiin,
saadaksenne varmuuden siitii, ettii se on todella nousta
vissa ajoneuvolla.
Jyrkat laskut
Siirtiikiiii valitsin asentool "4LLc" (Super select 4WD) tai "4L"
(osa-aika 4WD). Kiiyttii kiiii moottorijarrutusta (pienemmiille
vaihtamista) ja laskeutukaa hitaasti.
(1) Laskeuduttaessa jyrkkiiii miikeii, saattaa yhtiikkiii eteentul lut este pakottaa jarruttamaan niin voimakkaasti, ettii ajo
neuvon hallinta menetetiiiin .
Siksi on syytii kiivellii etukiiteen varmistamassa, ettei tiil
laisia esteitii matkalla ole.
(2) Valitkaa sopiva vaihde ennen laskeutumista, ja viilttiikiiii
vaihtami sta samoin kuin kytkimen alas painamista laskeu
tumisen aikana .
Climbing sharp grades
Set the transfer shift lever to "4LLc" (Super select 4WD) or
"4L" (Part time 4WD) to maximize use of the engine torque.
(1) Choose as smooth a slope as possible. (2) The climbing ability is approximate 40' grade on dry pavement. (3) Before attempting to drive up the slope, walk up it to confirm that the vehicle can hand le the grade .
Descending sharp grades
Set the transfer shift lever to "4LLc" (Super select 4WD) or
"4L" (Part time 4WD), use the engine brake (downshifting) and descend slowly.
(1) When descending a sharp grade. if the brakes are applied
suddenly because of an obstacle encountered, control of the vehicle could be lost. Before descending the slope , walk down it and confirm the path. (2) Before descending a grade, it is necessary to choose the
appropriate gear. Avoid changing gears or depressing the clutch while descending the grade .

(14 )Laskekaa ajoneuvo varovasti alas ja tiukatkaa sitten jokainen mut-teri vuorollaan miiiiriitiukkuuteen.
Miiiiriitiukkuus 10 -12 kgm (100 -120 Nm)

(13)On vehicles with steel wheels , install the wheel nuts with their tapered ends facing inward, then
tighten by hand until the wheel is no longer loose.
On vehicles
with aluminium wheels temporarily tighten the wheel nuts until their flange section cames into contact with the wheel so that they may no longer become loose.
& CAUTION Never apply oil to either wheel bolts or nuts as it will cause them to loosen.
(14)Lower the vehicle slowly and then
alternately tighten the nuts until each nut has been tightened to the
specified torque.
Tightening torque 10 to 12 kgm (100 to 120 Nm, 72 to 87 ft.lbs .)
