CAUTION
Items unsuitable for the cup holder
Do not place anything other than cups or aluminum cans in the cup holders.
Other items may be thrown out of the holders in the event of an accident or
sudden braking and cause injury. If possible, cover hot drinks to prevent
burns.

Auxiliary box
Vehicles with rear seat
Pull the strap horizontally as
shown. The latch under the seat
cushion will release, allowing the
seat cushion to be raised.
NOTICE
Items that should not be stowed in the bottle holders
Put the cap on before stowing a bottle. Do not place open bottles in the bot-
tle holders, or glasses and paper cups containing liquid. The contents may
spill and glasses may break.

strap.
Anchor the strap to the head
restraint.
When returning the rear seat, put
the strap back to the original
place.

Open the lid.

CAUTION
Observe the following precautions. Failure to do so may result in death or seri-
ous injury.
When operating the rear seat
Do not operate the seat while driving.
Stop the vehicle on level ground, set the parking brake and shift the shift
lever to P (Multidrive) or 1 (manual transmission).
Be careful not to get your hands or feet pinched in the seat.
After returning the seat cushion to the original position
Make sure the bottom cushion is securely locked.
Caution while driving
Do not drive with the seat cushion raised.
Do not place anything that may roll, or is larger than the available space
under the seat.

Power outlet
The power outlet can be used when
Vehicles without smart entry & start system
The engine switch is in the ACC or ON position.
Vehicles with smart entry & start system
The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in ACCESSORY or IGNITION ON
mode.
NOTICE
To avoid damaging the power outlet
Close the power outlet lid when the power outlet is not in use.
Foreign objects or liquids that enter the power outlet may cause a short cir-
cuit.
To prevent the fuse from being blown
Do not use an accessory that uses more than 12 V 10 A.
To prevent battery discharge
Do not use the power outlet longer than necessary when the engine is not
running.
The power outlet can be used for 12 V accessories that run on less
than 10 A.

Seat heaters
: If equipped
The seat heaters can be used when
Vehicles without smart entry & start system
The engine switch is in the ON position.
Vehicles with smart entry & start system
The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in IGNITION ON mode.
When not in use
Turn the seat heater off. The indicator light turns off.
Heats the left front seat
Heats the right front seat
The indicator light comes on.
