REMOVAL POINTS
Shift fork, shaft cam and transmission
1. Remove:
Main axle 1
Drive axle 2
Shift cam
Shift fork 3
Shift fork 2
Shift fork 1
NOTE:
Remove assembly with the collar 3 installed
to the crankcase.
Remove assembly carefully. Note the posi-
tion of each part. Pay particular attention to
the location and direction of shift forks.
Remove the main axle, drive axle, shift cam
and shift fork all together by tapping lightly on
the transmission drive axle with a soft ham-
mer.

1. Inspect:

Wear/damage → Replace.

DEMONTAGE-EINZELHEITEN
Schaltgabeln, Schaltwalze und
Getriebe
1. Demontieren:

HINWEIS:
Die Baugruppe mit der am Kurbel-
gehäuse montierten Distanzhülse
3 demontieren.
Die Baugruppe vorsichtig demontie-
ren. Die entsprechende Einbaulage
sämtlicher Teile fest halten. Der
Lage und Ausrichtung der Schaltga-
beln besondere Achtung schenken.
Eingangswelle, Ausgangswelle,
Schaltwalze und Schaltgabeln
gemeinsam ausbauen durch leich-
tes Klopfen auf die Ausgangswelle
mit einem Gummihammer.
KONTROLLE
Zahnräder
1. Kontrollieren:
Schaltklauen

Erneuern.
2. Kontrollieren:

Fourchette de sélection, tambour et
boîte de vitesses
1. Déposer:
Arbre primaire 1
Arbre secondaire 2
Tambour
Fourchette de sélection 3
Fourchette de sélection 2
Fourchette de sélection 1
N.B.:
Déposer l’ensemble avec l’entretoise
épaulée 3 monté sur le carter.
Déposer avec précaution. Prendre note
de la position de chaque pièce. Bien
noter la position et l’orientation des
fourchettes de sélection.
Déposer ensemble l’arbre primaire,
l’arbre secondaire, le tambour et la
fourchette de sélection en tapant légè-
rement sur l’arbre secondaire de la
transmission à l’aide d’un marteau en
plastique.
CONTROLE
Pignons
1. Contrôler:

Endommagement → Remplacer.

Horquilla de cambio, leva de cambio y
caja de cambios
1. Extraer:
Eje principal 1
Eje posterior 2
Leva de cambio
Horquilla de cambio 3
Horquilla de cambio 2
Horquilla de cambio 1
NOTA:
Extraiga el conjunto con el casquillo
3 montado en el cárter.
Extraiga el conjunto con cuidado.
Anote la posición de cada pieza.
Preste mucha atención a la situación y
dirección de las horquillas de cambio.
Extraiga el eje principal, el eje poste-
rior, la leva de cambio y la horquilla
de cambio, todo junto, golpeando lige-
ramente el eje posterior de la caja de
cambios con un mazo blando.
COMPROBACIÓN
Engranajes
1. Comprobar:
Desplazable correspondiente a
Dientes de engranaje b
Ranura de la horquilla de cambio

Desgaste/daños → Cambiar.
2. Comprobar:
Junta tórica 1
Dañada → Cambiar.
3. Comprobar:
Movimiento de los engranajes
Movimiento no suave → Reparar
o cambiar.

Rotate inner race with a finger.
Rough spot/seizure → Replace.

1. Inspect:
Shift fork 1
Wear/damage/scratches → Replace.
2. Inspect:
Shift cam 1
Segment 2
Bend/wear/damage → Replace.
3. Check:
Shift fork movement
Unsmooth operation → Replace shift
fork.
NOTE:
For a malfunctioning shift fork, replace not only
the shift fork itself but the two gears each adja-
cent to the shift fork.

HINWEIS:
Beim Austausch einer defekten
Schaltgabel ebenfalls die links und
rechts anliegenden Zahnräder
erneuern. Roulement
1. Contrôler:
Roulement 1
Faire tourner la cage interne avec
le doigt.
Rugosité/grippage → Remplacer.
Fourchette de sélection, tambour et
segment
1. Contrôler:
Fourchette de sélection 1
Usure/endommagement/rayures
→ Remplacer.
2. Contrôler:
Tambour 1
Segment 2
Déformation/usure/endommage-
ment → Remplacer.
3. Contrôler:
Mouvement des fourchettes
Mouvement irrégulier → Rem-
placer.
N.B.:
En cas de mauvais fonctionnement d’une
fourchette de sélection, remplacer non
seulement la fourchette mais aussi les
deux pignons adjacents.Cojinete
1. Comprobar:
Cojinete 1
Gire la guía interior con un dedo.
Punto duro/agarrotamiento →
Cambiar.
Horquilla de cambio, leva de cambio y
segmento
1. Comprobar:
Horquilla de cambio 1
Desgaste/daños/rayaduras →
Cambiar.
2. Comprobar:
Leva de cambio 1
Segmento 2
Alabeo/desgaste/daños → Cam-
biar.
3. Comprobar:
Movimiento de la horquilla de
cambio
Movimiento no suave → Cambiar
la horquilla de cambio.
NOTA:
Si una horquilla de cambio funciona mal,
no solo cambie la propia horquilla sino
también los dos engranajes adyacentes a
ella.

Transmission
1. Install:
5th pinion gear (25T) 1
3rd pinion gear (16T) 2
Collar 3
4th pinion gear (20T) 4
2nd pinion gear (15T) 5
To main axle 6.
NOTE:
Apply the molybdenum disulfide oil on the
inner and end surface of the idler gear and on
the inner surface of the sliding gear, then
install.
2. Install:
Collar 1
2nd wheel gear (26T) 2
4th wheel gear (21T) 3
3rd wheel gear (21T) 4
5th wheel gear (21T) 5
Collar 6
1st wheel gear (29T) 7
O-ring 8
To drive axle 9.
NOTE:
Apply the molybdenum disulfide oil on the
inner and end surface of the idler gear and
on the inner surface of the sliding gear, then
install.
Apply the lithium soap base grease on the O-
ring.

bestreichen.
Den O-Ring mit Lithiumseifenfett

1. Monter:
Pignon de 5ème (25T) 1
Pignon de 3ème (16T) 2
Entretoise épaulée 3
Pignon de 4ème (20T) 4
Pignon de 2ème (15T) 5
Sur l’arbre primaire 6.
N.B.:
Appliquer de l’huile au bisulfure de
molybdène sur la surface interne et
l’extrémité du pignon fou et sur la sur-
face interne du pignon baladeur, puis
procéder au montage.
2. Monter:
Entretoise épaulée 1
Pignon de 2ème (26T) 2
Pignon de 4ème (21T) 3
Pignon de 3ème (21T) 4
Pignon de 5ème (21T) 5
Entretoise épaulée 6
Pignon de 1ère (29T) 7
Joint torique 8
Sur l’arbre secondaire 9.
N.B.:
Appliquer de l’huile au bisulfure de
molybdène sur la surface interne et
l’extrémité du pignon fou et sur la sur-
face interne du pignon baladeur, puis
procéder au montage.
Appliquer de la graisse à savon de
lithium sur le joint torique.MONTAJE E INSTALACIÓN

NOTA:
Aplique aceite de disulfuro de molib-
deno a la superficie interna y extrema del
engranaje intermedio y a la superficie
interna del engranaje desplazable y luego
móntelos.
2. Instalar:
Casquillo 1
Piñón de rueda de 2ª (26T) 2
Piñón de rueda de 4ª (21T) 3
Piñón de rueda de 3ª (21T) 4
Piñón de rueda de 5ª (21T) 5
Casquillo 6
Piñón de rueda de 1ª (29T) 7
Junta tórica 8
Al eje posterior 9.
NOTA:
Aplique aceite de disulfuro de molib-
deno a la superficie interna y extrema
del engranaje intermedio y a la super-
ficie interna del engranaje desplazable
y luego móntelos.
Aplique grasa de jabón de litio a la
junta tórica.

Plain washer 1
Circlip 2
NOTE:
Be sure the circlip sharp-edged corner a is
positioned opposite side to the plain washer
and gear b.
Install the circlip with its ends c settled
evenly on the spline crests.

4. Install:
Collar 1
NOTE:
Apply the lithium soap base grease on the oil
seal lip.
When installing the spacer into the crank-
case, pay careful attention to the crankcase
oil seal lip.
5. Install:
Shift fork 1 (L) 1
Shift fork 2 (C) 2
Shift fork 3 (R) 3
Shift cam 4
To main axle and drive axle.
NOTE:
Apply the molybdenum disulfide oil on the
shift fork grooves.
Mesh the shift fork #1 (L) with the 4th wheel
gear 5 and #3 (R) with the 5th wheel gear 7
on the drive axle.
Mesh the shift fork #2 (C) with the 3rd pinion
gear 6 on the main axle.
