position andpush theON´OFF buttonwhilethe
system isoff tocall upthe available audiosource
that was playing immediately beforethesystem
was turned off.
T o turn thesystem off,push theON´OFF button.
T urn theVOL (volume) controlknobtoadjust the
volume.
This vehicle maybeequipped withSpeed
Sensitive Volume. Whenthisfeature isactive,
the audio volume changes asthe driving speed
changes.

Adjusts thebass tothe desired level.

the leftand right speakers.

Speed Sensitive Vol.:
Adjusts thespeed sensitive volume
function, whichincreases thevolume of
the audio system asthe speed ofthe
vehicle increases. SettoªOFFº todis-
able thefeature. Thehigher thesetting,
the more thevolume increases inrelation
to vehicle speed.

AUX Volume Level:
Controls thevolume levelofincoming
sound whenanauxiliary deviceiscon- nected
tothe system. Available options
are Low (Quiet) ,Medium, andHigh
(Loud) .
Bass, treble, balance andfade canalso be
adjusted bypushing theAUDIO controlknob
and turning itto select theitem toadjust. When
the desired itemisshown onthe display ,turn the
tuning toadjust andthen push theAUDIO
button untilthedisplay returnstothe main audio
screen. Ifthe button isnot pushed forapproxi-
mately 10seconds, theradio orCD display will
automatically reappear.

If another audiosource isplaying whenthe
FM´AM buttonispushed, theaudio source
playing willautomatically beturned offand the
last radio station playedwillbegin playing.
The FMstereo indicator (ST)isshown onthe
screen duringFMstereo reception. Whenthe
stereo broadcast signalisweak, theradio
automatically changesfromstereo tomonaural
reception.
SXM band select :

When theSXM button ispushed whilethe
ignition switchisin the ACC orON position, the
radio willcome onatthe last station played.
The laststation playedwillalso come onwhen
the ON´OFF buttonispushed.

radio mode willbeskipped unlessanoptional
satellite receiver andantenna areinstalled anda

SiriusXM SatelliteRadioservice subscription is
active. Satellite radioisnot available inAlaska,
Hawaii andGuam.
If a compact discisplaying whentheSXM
button ispushed, thecompact discwillauto-
matically beturned offand thelast radio station
played willcome on.
While theradio isin SXM mode, theoperation
can becontrolled throughthetouch-screen.
T ouch theªChannelsº keytodisplay alist of
channels. Touch achannel displayed onthe list
to change tothat channel. Touch theªCate-
goriesº keytodisplay alist ofcategories. Touch
a category displayed onthe listtodisplay
options withinthatcategory .
T uning withthetouch-screen:

When inAM orFM mode, theradio canbe
tuned usingthetouch-screen. To bring upthe
visual tuner, touch theªTuneº keyonthe lower
right corner ofthe screen. Ascreen appears
with abar running fromlowfrequencies onthe
left tohigh frequencies onthe right. Touch the
screen atthe location ofthe frequency youwish
to tune andthestation willchange tothat
frequency .To return tothe regular radiodisplay
screen, touchtheªOKº key.
T uning withtheTUNE knob:

The radio canalso bemanually tunedusingthe TUNE
knob.When inFM orAM mode, turnthe
TUNE knobtothe leftforlower frequencies orto
the right forhigher frequencies. WheninSXM
mode, turntheTUNE knobtochange the
channel.

When inFM orAM mode, pushtheseek buttons
or
to tune from lowtohigh orhigh to
low frequencies andtostop atthe next broad-
casting station.

T welve stations canbeset forthe FM band (6
for FM1, 6for FM2) andsixstations canbeset
for the AM band. Eighteen stationscanbeset
for the SXM band (6for SXM1, 6for SXM2, 6
for SXM3) .
1. Choose theradio band AM,FM1 orFM2
using theFM´AM selectbutton orchoose
the radio band SXM1, SXM2,SXM3using
the SXM button.
2. Tune tothe desired stationusingmanual or
seek tuning. Touch andhold anyofthe
desired stationmemory keys(1±6) until a
beep sound isheard.

3. The channel indicator willthen come onand
the sound willresume. Programming isnow
complete.
4. Other keyscanbeset inthe same manner.
If the battery cableisdisconnected orifthe fuse
opens, theradio memory willbeerased. Inthat
case, resetthedesired stations.
Presets canalso beselected bytouching the
desired presetnumber onthe screen.
Compact Disc(CD) player operation

If the radio isalready operating, itautomatically

ouch theªRepeatº keytoapply arepeat playpattern tothe CD. Ifan MP3 CDis
playing, touching ªRepeatº alternates betweenrepeating thecurrent songand
repeating thecurrent folder.Thistextwillappear onthe display .To cancel Repeat
mode, touchtheªRepeatº keyuntil thekey isno longer highlighted.

ouch theªBrowseº keytodisplay thetitles onthe CD inlist format. Touch thetitle of
a song inthe listtobegin playing thatsong. Ifan MP3 CDisplaying, touching the
ªBrowseº keywillalso listthe folders onthe disc. Follow theprocedure forselecting
a song withthetouch-screen tochoose afolder.

SEEK (FastForward/Rewind)

The compact discplays atan increased speed
while reversing orfast forwarding. Whenthe

of the instrument panel.TheAUX INjack
accepts anystandard analogaudioinputsuch
as from aportable cassette tape/CD player,
MP3 player oralaptop computer. PushtheAUX

the AUX INjack.
NISSAN stronglyrecommends usingastereo
mini plug cable whenconnecting yourmusic
device tothe audio system. Musicmaynotplay
properly whenamonaural cableisused.

to restart theUSB memory .

Information abouttheaudio filesbeing played is
shown onthe display screenofthe vehicle's
audio system. Touch ªBrowseº todisplay thelist
of categories thatcanbeused tonarrow the
search. Touch thename ofasong onthe screen
to begin playing thatsong.
Seek button:
Push the
button whileanaudio fileonthe
USB device isplaying toreturn tothe beginning
of the current track.Pushthe

times toskip backward severaltracks.
Push the
