electronic key
could not be
detected in the
vehicle.
• The electronic
key could not be
detected in the
vehicle even
after the
“ENGINE
START STOP”
switch was
pressed two
consecutive
times. Touch the elec-
tronic key to the
“ENGINE START
STOP” switch
while depressing
the brake pedal.

“ENGINE START
STOP” switch off
when the shift
lever was not in P. To turn off the
engine, first shift
the shift lever to P
and then turn the
“ENGINE START
STOP” switch off.

off due to the
automatic power
off function. Next time when
starting the
engine, increase
the engine speed
slightly and main-
tain that level for
approximately 5
minutes to
recharge the bat-
tery.

then the
“ENGINE START
STOP” switch was
put in ACCES-
SORY mode
twice without the
engine being
started. Press the
“ENGINE START
STOP” switch
while depressing
the brake pedal.
During an engine
starting proce-
dure in the event
that the elec-
tronic key was not
functioning prop-
erly (  P. 7 9 4 ) ,
the “ENGINE
START STOP”
switch was
touched with the
electronic key. Press the
“ENGINE START
STOP” switch
within 10 seconds
of the buzzer

In the following cases, the warning message may not be displayed even if vehicle-
to-vehicle distance decreases: ●
When your vehicle and the vehicle ahead are traveling at the same speed or the
vehicle ahead is traveling more quickly than your vehicle●
When the vehicle ahead is traveling at a very low speed●
Immediately after cruise control speed is set●
At the instant the accelerator pedal is depressedInterior

If you have a flat tire Your vehicle is equipped with a spare ti re. The flat tire can be replaced with
the spare tire.
■ Before jacking up the vehicle
● Stop the vehicle on a hard, flat surface.
● Set the parking brake.
● Shift the shift lever to P.
● Stop the engine.
● Turn on the emergency flashers.

Pull the lever upward to fold back
the front part of the deck board.
Pull the folded deck board upright.
Pull on the attached hook to
