ETAPES DU CONTROLE
Suivre la procédure ci-dessous pour déterminer si le mauvais fonctionnement du moteur est dû à une panne
dans le circuit d’allumage et pour vérifier une bougie qui ne produit pas d’étincelle.
*1: Se reporter à la section “CONTROLE DES FUSIBLES” au CHAPITRE 3.
*2: Se reporter à la section “CONTROLE ET CHARGE DE LA BATTERIE” au CHAPITRE 3.
*3: Seulement quant le contrôleur d’allumage est utilisé.

Déposer les pièces suivantes avant le contrôle.

kerzenausfall.

PROCEDIMIENTO DE REVISIÓN
Utilice el procedimiento siguiente para verificar la posibilidad de que se esté produciendo un fallo del motor
atribuible a un fallo del sistema de encendido, así como para comprobar la bujía.
*1 marcado: Consulte el apartado “COMPROBACIÓN DE LOS FUSIBLES” del CAPÍTULO 3.
*2 marcado: Consulte el apartado “COMPROBACIÓN Y CARGA DE LA BATERÍA” del CAPÍTULO 3.
*3 marcado: Solo cuando se utiliza el comprobador de encendido.
NOTA:
Desmonte las piezas siguientes antes de proceder a la revisión.

Utilice las herramientas especiales siguientes en esta revisión.

SPARK GAP TEST
1. Disconnect the ignition coil from spark
plug.
2. Remove the ignition coil cap.
3. Connect the dynamic spark tester 1 (igni-
tion checker 2) as shown.

4. Kick the kickstarter.
5. Check the ignition spark gap.
6. Start engine, and increase spark gap until
misfire occurs. (for USA and CDN only)

CONNECTION INSPECTION
1. Check:
•Couplers and leads connection
Rust/dust/looseness/short-circuit →
Repair or replace.
•Ignition coil and spark plug as they are fit-
ted
Push in the ignition coil until it closely
contacts the spark plug hole in the cylin-
der head cover.

•“ENGINE STOP” button conduct
No continuity while being pushed → Replace.
Continuity while being freed → Replace.

Die Zündspule eindrücken, bis
sie die Zündkerzenbohrung im
Zylinderkopfdekkel berührt.

1. Kontrollieren:
Durchgang des Motorstopp-
schalters “ENGINE STOP”
Kein Durchgang, wenn gedrückt. →

Rouille/poussière/jeu/court-cir-
cuit → Réparer ou remplacer.
Bobine d’allumage et bougie en
place
Appuyer sur la bobine d’allu-
mage jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit en
contact étroit avec le trou de bou-
gie du couvre-culasse.
