Toextend: pull the load compartment co ver
1 back bythe grab handle 2and clip it
into the holders on the left and right. #
Toretract: unhook the load compartment
co ver1 from the holders on the left and
ri ght and guide it forw ards bythe grab han‐
dle 2until it is fully retracted.

Re quirements:
R The load compartment co ver is retracted. #
Toremo ve: press in the end cap of the load
compartment co ver1 ontheright-hand
side. #
Push the load compartment co ver1 into
th ere cess 2onthe opposite side. 11 8

Take the load compartment co ver1 out by
pulling it upwards. #
Toinstall: placethe load compartment co ver
1 into there cess 2onthe left-hand side. #
Press in the end cap of the load compart‐
ment co ver1 onthe opposite side and
insert the load compartment co ver1 into
th eot her recess 2. #
Slide the end cap outwards.

Extend and unfold the partitioning net.
The joints on theto p and bottom guide rods
will audibly engage. #
Toattach: attachthe guide rod1 onthe
ro of lining tothe holders 2. #
Enga gethe hooks 3inthe tie-down eyes
4 onthe left and right. #
Pull on the loose ends of the lashing stra ps
until the partitioning net is tight. #
After driving a short dis tance, check thete n‐
sion of the partitioning net and re-tension it if
necessa ry. #
Toremo ve: pull the belt clamp 5upwards
until the lashing stra ps are loose. #
Remo vethe hooks 3from the tie-down
ey es 4 onthe left and right. #
Remo vethe guide rod1 from the holders

hooks with heavy objects
The bag hooks cannot restra in heavy objects
or items of luggage. Objects or items of luggage could be
thrown
around and thereby hit vehicle occupants
when braking or abruptly changing direc‐
tions. #
Onlyhang light objects on the bag
hooks. #
Never hang hard, sharp-edged or fragile
objects on the bag hooks. Obser

The bag hooks can bear a maximum load of
3 kg . Do not use them tosecure a load. 1

Coat hooks are not suitable for hanging heavy
objects as this can cause theta ilgate tolower
automaticall y.Use the coat hooks only for light

When you load thero of, the cent reof gr avity
of theve hicle rises and the usual driving
ch aracteristics as well as thesteering and
braking characteristics change. During cor‐
nering, theve hicle tilts more strongly and
may react more sluggishly tosteering mo ve‐
ments.
If yo uexc eed the maximum roof load, the
driving characteristics, as well as thesteer‐
ing and braking characteristics, will be
great lyimpaired. #
