drink, and spectacles in the cabin when
parking the vehicle in hot sunshine. The
cabin will become extremely hot, so light-
ers and other flammable items may catch
fire and unopened drink cans (including
beer cans) may rupture. The heat may al-
so deform or crack plastic spectacle len-
ses and other spectacle parts that are
made of plastic.
l Keep the lids of storage spaces closed
while driving the vehicle. A lid or the con-
tents of a storage space could otherwise
cause injuries.

you hear a click. To remove the card, give it a
push. It will come out automatically. NOTE

pull the table up until it locks in position. WARNING
l Keep the table retracted while driving the
vehicle.
The table could otherwise cause
an accident in the event of hard braking

l When retracting the table, push it until a
click is emitted from the vicinity of the but-
ton. Confirm that the table is securely re-
tained.
NOTE l Make sure the table is level before using it.
l Do
not place luggage weighing a total of 4
kg or more on the table.
l Keep the table retracted when you are not us-
ing it. Tonneau cover*

To install 1. Remove
the tonneau cover, which is stowed
in the luggage area, from its storage bag.
2. Stow the third seat (Refer to “Stowing the third seat” on page
2-13.)
3. Move the sliders (A) outward to the posi- tions where they click, then check that they
are securely locked in position. For pleasant driving

4. Move one of the sliders (A) towards the in-
side of the vehicle, and fit the protruding por-
tion (B) into the installation hole (C). Move
the opposite slider in the same fashion. NOTE
l After
installing the position, gently shake the
entire tonneau cover to make sure it is secure-
ly retained. To use
1. Draw
out the cover retracted by spring and in-
sert it in the mounting grooves (D). NOTE
l Do
not place luggage on top of the tonneau
cover.
To remove 1. Remove the cover from the mountinggrooves, and the cover will roll back into the
retracted position. 2. Move
one of the sliders (A) towards the in-
side of the vehicle and lift it to remove the
tonneau cover. To store
1. Press
the button (F) on the back of each slid-
er, and move the sliders inward. 2. Return the third seat to its original position.

3. Put the tonneau cover in its storage bag and
stow it in the luggage area. CAUTION
l
Be sure to stow the tonneau cover as illus-
trated.
Unless stowed in the correct posi-
tion, the tonneau cover could touch the
seat belts and damage them. Assist grip

not use the assist grips when getting in-

are two hooks on the rear pillar for use in
hanging clothes. WARNING
l Do
not put a hanger or any heavy or poin-
ted object on the coat hook. If the curtain
airbag was activated, any such item could
be propelled away with great force and
could prevent the curtain airbag from in-
flating correctly. Hang clothes directly on
the coat hook (without using a hanger).
Make sure there are no heavy or sharp ob-
jects in the pockets of clothes that you

gage area. Use them when you wish to tie luggage

sure to tie luggage down securely. Oth-

illustration. The cargo net is used to cover light arti-
cles in the luggage compartment to prevent them
