Removal and InstallationBIS0010I
CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage the mirror body.
REMOVAL
1. Remove the front door finisher. Refer to EI-35, "DOOR FINISHER" .
2. Remove the tweeter harness connector from the corner cover (tweeter equipped model).
3. Remove the door mirror harness connector.
4. Remove the corner cover.
5. Remove the door mirror mounting nuts, and remove the door mirror assembly.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

6. Disconnect sunload sensor, auto light sensor, and security indicator harness connectors. Refer to AT C -
111 , "SUNLOAD SENSOR" and LT- 7 4 , "Removal and Installation for Optical Sensor" .
7. Remove instrument panel & pad from passenger side door opening.
8. Remove screws, and then remove instrument panel pad from instrument panel.
(Z) Instrument Center Lower Panel
1. Remove screws from back of instrument panel & pad.
2. Remove instrument center lower panel forward from front side.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

8. Remove screws, and then remove console box.
9. Remove screws from both sides of bottom of rear end, and then remove console bracket.
Assembly
Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Disassembly
1. Remove caught point of tip of damper from back of glove box lid
side using a screwdriver wrapped with tape.
2. Remove screws from center of back surface, and then remove damper body.
3. Remove glove box pin from center of back surface using a
screwdriver wrapped with tape, and then remove glove box from
instrument passenger lower panel.
4. Remove illumination from back surface upper using a screwdriver wrapped with tape.

In CAN communication system, multiple units mutually transmit and receive signals. Each unit cannot transmit
and receive signals if any error occurs on CAN communication line. Under this condition, multiple control units
related to the root cause malfunction or go into fail-safe mode.
ERROR EXAMPLE

Each vehicle differs in symptom of each unit under fail-safe mode and CAN communication line wiring.
Refer to LAN-41, "Abbreviation List" for the unit abbreviation.
