If th e indicator tab of the seat anchorage is not
re tracted into the seat leg, the seat is not cor rectly
engaged. Engage the seat again. &

If yo u mo vethe seat position outside the
mar ked area, the window airbag can no longer
pr ov ide optimum pr otection.
The pr otective e.ect of the window airbag is
gr adually reduced and may in some positions
no longer be pr ovided at all. #

passen gers have su1cient leg room toreduce the
ri sk of injury during braking. Yo
u can slide there ar ben chseat only when it is
unoccupied. If possible, slide there ar ben chseat
with the assistance of a second person. #
Pull up release handle 4for seat fore -and-aT
adjustment. #
Movethere ar ben chseat tothe desired posi-
tion bygrab handles 3. #
Let go of release handle 4.
Re lease handle 4will fold down toits original
position. #
Make sure that all slide rsforfo re -and-aT
adjustment en gage audibly on bo thsides.
It will no longer be possible tomo vethere ar
