wiper blades are being replaced
If th e windscreen wipers begin tomo vewhile
yo u are changing the wiper blades, you can be
trapped bythe wiper arm. #
Always switch o. the windscreen wipers
and vehicle before changing the wiper
blades. *
N NOOTE TE Damage tothe windscreen or rear
wind owduring wiper blade replacement If
th e wiper arm on the windscreen or rear win-
dow is folded back before a wiper blade has
been /t ted, the window may be damaged by

screen or rear wind owback until a wiper
blade has been /tted. Keep hold of the
wiper arm when replacing a wiper blade. *

back from the windscreen when the bonnet is
opened, the windscreen wipers or the bonnet

Hold the wiper arm with one hand. With the
ot her hand, turn the wiper blade in the direc-
tion of ar row 1 awa y from the wiper arm as
fa r as it will go. #
Slide catch 2inthe direction of ar row 3
until it engages in there mo val position. #
Remo vethe wiper blade from the wiper arm in
th e direction of ar row 4. F

Insert the new wiper blade into the wiper arm
in the direction of ar row 1. #

until it engages in the locking position. #
Make sure that the wiper blade is seated cor-
re ctl y. #
Foldthe wiper arms back onto the windscreen.

If th e colour of the maintenance display changes

Yo u could lose control of theve hicle in thefo l-
lowing situations in particular:
R ifyo u adjust the driver's seat, the head
re straint, the steering wheel or the mir ror
while theve hicle is in motion
R ifyo ufa sten your seat belt while theve hi-
cle is in motion #
Before starting theve hicle: in particular,
adjust the driver's seat, head restraint,
stee ring wheel and mir ror,and fasten
yo ur seat belt. &

smaller scale. The objects in vi eware in fact
closer than they appear. #

fo rw ards or backwards, proceed as follo ws. #
Press and hold button 1until you hear a click
fo llo we dby the mir ror audibly engaging in posi-
tion.
The mir ror housing will now be engaged and
yo u will be able toadjust the outside mir rors
as normal.

view mir ror.This uses a camera in there ar wind ow
and a displ ayinteg rated in the mir rorto prov ide a
better view tothere ar. The rearview mir ror can be
used either as a standard rearview mir ror or as a
displa y.
To prev ent glare from the digital rearview mir ror,
/r st set the digital rearview mir ror as the standard
re arview mir ror. Cer
tain types of sunlight (e.g. sun low on the hori-
zon) or light from ano ther intense light source can
re duce the display's contrast and cause it to
become too bright. In such situations, objects in
th e display may be obscured or di1cult tosee. In
th ese cases be particular lycareful and adapt your
driving style accordingl y.
Drivers must alw ayswe arthe necessary personal
visual aids requ ired forth em todrive a vehicle.
Drivers with presb yopia (age-related long-sighted-
ness) should, if necessar y,we ar visual aids with
multifocal lenses tobe su1cient lyable tosee traf-
fi c including via the displa ys.

matically adjusts the brightness of the display
to the lighting conditions. Do not co verthe

Electrolyte may escape if the glass in an auto-
matic anti-dazzle mir ror breaks.
The electrolyte is hazardous tohealth and cau-
ses ir rita tion. It must not come into contact
with your skin, eyes, respiratory or gans or
clo thing or be swallo wed. #
Ifyo u come into contact with electrolyte,
obser vethefo llowing:
R Immediate lyrinse the electrolyte
from your skin with water and seek
medical attention.
R If electrolyte comes into contact with
your eyes, immediately rinse them
th oroughly with clean water and seek
medical attention.
R Ifth e electrolyte is swallo wed, imme-
diately rinse your mouth out thor-
oughl y.Do not induce vomiting. Seek
medical attention immediatel y.
R Immediately change out of clo thing
which has been contaminated with
electrolyte.
R If an allergic reaction occurs, seek
medical attention immediatel y.The inside
rearview mir ror and the outside mir ror
on the driver's side will automatically go into anti-
dazzle mode if light from a headlamp hits the sen-
sor on the inside rearview mir ror.
