The following causes are possible:
R The windscreen is dirty in the camera's /eld of vision.
R Visibility is impaired due toheavy rain, snow or fog.
If th e causes mentioned abo veno longer app ly,th e display message
will disappear and Tra1c Sign Assist will be operational again.

Stop in accordance with the tra1c conditions. #
Secure theve hicle against rolling away. #
Clean the windscreen.

he HOLD function has been deacti vated. The vehicle has star ted
skidding.

When the compressor has cooled down, theve hicle will continue ris-
ing tothe selected vehicle le vel. #
Drive on in a manner appropriate forth e cur rent le vel. Make sure
th at there is su1cient ground clearance.

Before opening the bonnet, allow the engine tocool down. #
Intheev ent of a /re in the engine compartment, keep the
bonnet closed and call the /re service. &

Wait until the engine has cooled down. #
Ensure that the air supply tothera diator is not obstructed. #
Avoiding high engine loads, drive on tothe nearest quali/ed spe-
cialist workshop. In doing so, ensu rethat the coolant temp erature
display remains below 120°C.

Check the coolant temp erature display ?onthe inst rument
cluster.
If th e coolant temp erature is below 120°C, you can continue driving
to the nearest quali/ed specialist workshop.
