FITTING ROOF BARS
(SALOON)
When i tting transverse roof bars, use
the four quick-i t i xings provided for this
purpose:

 lift the concealing l aps,

 adjust the roof bar quick-i t i xings.
Maximum authorised weight on the
roof rack, for a loading height not ex-
ceeding 40 cm (with the exception of
bicycle carriers): 65 kg.
If the height exceeds 40 cm, adapt
the speed of the vehicle to the pro-
i le of the road to avoid damaging the
roof bars and the i xings on the roof.
Be sure to refer to national legis-
lation in order to comply with the
regulations for transporting objects
which are longer than the vehicle.
FITTING ROOF BARS (SW)
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer for the in-
stallation of longitudinal roof bars.
When i tting transverse roof bars, en-
sure that they are positioned correctly
as shown by marks on the longitudinal
roof bars.
Use accessories recommended by
PEUGEOT and follow the accessory
manufacturer's i tting instructions.
In order to place a load on the roof, your
vehicle must be i tted with longitudinal
roof bars with transverse roof bars i tted
on top of these.
The longitudinal roof bars cannot be re-
moved.

Maximum authorised weight on the roof
bars, for a loading height not exceeding
40 cm (except bicycle carriers): 75 kg.
If the height exceeds 40 cm, adapt
the speed of the vehicle to the con-
dition of the road, to avoid damag-
ing the roof bars and the i xings on
the roof.
Please refer to national legislation
to comply with the regulations re-
garding the transportation of objects
which are longer than the vehicle.
Lashing the straps through the ends
of the longitudinal roof bars is pro-
hibited.
