NOTE:
Remove with a slotted-head screwdriver
inserted under the mark a on the left cap.

1. Remove:
•Bearing 1
NOTE:
Remove the bearing by pressing its outer race.
INSPECTION
Wash the bearings, bushings and collars in a
solvent.
Swingarm
1. Inspect:
•Bearing 1
•Bushing 2
Free play exists/unsmooth revolution/rust
→ Replace bearing and bushing as a set.
2. Inspect:
•Oil seal 3
Damage → Replace.
Relay arm
1. Inspect:
•Bearing 1
•Collar 2
Free play exists/unsmooth revolution/rust
→ Replace bearing and collar as a set.
2. Inspect:
•Oil seal 3
Damage → Replace.

CONTROLE
Nettoyer les roulements, les bagues, les
entretoises épaulées dans du solvant.

Remplacer ensemble le roulement
et la bague.

NOTA:
Rimuovere utilizzando un cacciavite per
viti con testa a taglio inserito sotto il
contrassegno a sul coperchio sinistro.
Cuscinetto
1. Togliere:
Cuscinetto 1
NOTA:
Togliere il cuscinetto premendo sulla
pista esterna.
CONTROLLO
Lavare i cuscinetti, le bussole e i colla-
rini con un solvente.
Forcellone oscillante
1. Controllare:
Cuscinetto 1
Bussola 2
Presenza di gioco/rotazione non
uniforme/ruggine → Sostituire il
cuscinetto e la bussola in blocco.
2. Controllare:
Paraolio 3
Danno → Sostituire.
Braccio di rinvio
1. Controllare:
Cuscinetto 1
Collarino 2
Presenza di gioco/rotazione non
uniforme/ruggine → Sostituire il
cuscinetto e il collarino in blocco.
2. Controllare:

To swingarm.
NOTE:
•Apply the molybdenum disulfide grease on
the bearing when installing.
•Install the bearing by pressing it on the side
having the manufacture’s marks or numbers.
•First install the outer and then the inner bear-
ings to a specified depth from inside.
Installed depth of bearings:
Outer
a: Zero mm (Zero in)
Inner
b: 6.5 mm (0.26 in)
2. Install:
•Bearing 1
•Washer 2
•Oil seal 3
To relay arm.
NOTE:
•Apply the molybdenum disulfide grease on
the bearing when installing.
•Install the bearing by pressing it on the side
having the manufacture’s marks or numbers.
•Apply the molybdenum disulfide grease on
the washer.
Installed depth of bearings

fidöl auf das Lager auftragen.
Zum Einbau des Lagers auf der
Seite mit der Herstellerbeschrif-
tung oder Teilenummer drücken.
Zuerst die Außen- dann die Innen-
lager montieren; dabei die vorge-
schriebene Einbautiefe beachten.
Lager-Einbautiefe:
Außen a:
Null mm (null in)
Innen b:
6,5 mm (0,26 in)

Roulement et bague d’étanchéité
1. Monter:
Roulement 1
Bague d’étanchéité 2
Sur le bras oscillant.
N.B.:
Lors de l’installation, enduire le roule-
ment de graisse au bisulfure de molyb-
dène.
Monter le roulement en pressant sur le
côté où sont imprimés la marque ou le
numéro du fabricant.
Monter d’abord le roulement extérieur
puis le roulement intérieur à la profon-
deur spécifiée à partir de l’intérieur.
Profondeur d’installation
des roulements:
Extérieur a:
Zéro mm (zéro in)
Intérieur b:
6,5 mm (0,26 in)
2. Monter:
Roulement 1
Rondelle 2
Bague d’étanchéité 3
Sur le bras relais.
N.B.:

Cuscinetto 1
Paraolio 2
Sul forcellone oscillante.
NOTA:
Applicare il grasso al disolfuro di
molibdeno al cuscinetto durante
l’installazione.
Installare il cuscinetto premendolo sul
lato che presenta i contrassegni o i
numeri identificativi del produttore.
Installare prima i cuscinetti esterni,
quindi quelli interni, alla profondità
interna indicata.
Profondità di installazione
dei cuscinetti:
Esterna a:
Zero mm (zero in)
Interna b:
6,5 mm (0,26 in)
2. Installare:
Cuscinetto 1
Rondella 2
Paraolio 3
Sul braccio di rinvio.
NOTA:
Applicare il grasso al disolfuro di

NOTA:
Applicare il grasso al disolfuro di molib-
deno alle bussole, ai supporti reggi-
spinta, ai labbri del paraolio e alle
superfici di contatto del collarino e dei
supporti reggispinta.
2. Installare:
Collarino 1
Rondella 2
Sul braccio di rinvio 3.
NOTA:
Applicare il grasso al disolfuro di molib-
deno ai collarini e ai labbri del paraolio.

•Nut (connecting rod) 4
To relay arm 5.
NOTE:
Apply the molybdenum disulfide grease on the
bolt.
5. Install:
•Relay arm 1
•Bolt (relay arm) 2
•Washer 3
•Nut (relay arm) 4
To swingarm.
NOTE:
•Apply the molybdenum disulfide grease on
the bolt circumference and threaded portion.
•Do not tighten the nut yet.
6. Install:
•Swingarm 1
•Pivot shaft 2
NOTE:
•Apply the molybdenum disulfide grease on
the pivot shaft.
•Insert the pivot shaft from right side.
7. Check:
•Swingarm side play a
Free play exists → Replace thrust bear-
ing.
•Swingarm up and down movement b
Unsmooth movement/binding/rough
spots → Grease or replace bearings,
bushings and collars.
