d. Place matchmarks on the differential companion flange and flexible coupling.
e. Remove the 3 bolts from the differential side.

f. Remove the 2 bolts and adjusting washers.
HINT:
Some vehicles are not equipped with adjusting washers.

c. Remove the dust boot from the propeller shaft.
HINT:
If the dust boot is reused, remove it after wrappin
g vinyl tape around the spline, so it will not be damaged.

27.INSTALL FLEXIBLE COUPLING
a. Install and torque the 3 bolts, washers and nuts.
Torque: 79 N.m (805 kgf.cm, 58 ft.lbf)

The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1.REMOVE REAR TIRE
2.SEPARATE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR LINK SUB-ASSY REAR
a. Place matchmarks on the height control sensor link and bracket.
b. Remove the nut from the height control sensor link.

3.REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY LH
a. Remove the nut, and separate the stabilizer link assy LH.
HINT:
If the ball
joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud.

20.INSTALL SHOCK ABSORBER ASSY REAR LH
a. Install the shock absorber assy LH with the new nut.
Torque: 70 N.m (714 kgf.cm, 52 ft.lbf)

22.INSTALL TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSY LH
a. Install the toe control link assy LH with the new nut.
Torque: 50 N.m (510 kgf.cm, 37 ft.lbf)
