a. w/ Pre-collision safety system:
Install the radiator grille garnish to the inside radiator grille with 4 new nuts.
b. Install the inside radiator grille to the outside radiator grille with the 8 screws.
c. Install the radiator grille protector.
d. Install the radiator grille with the 6 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in..lbf)

f.INSTALL AUXILIARY CATCH RELEASE LEVER ASSY

b. Connect the rod and lock the snap as shown in the illustration.

2.INSTALL HOOD SUPPORT ASSY LH
a. Install the hood support with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 22 N.m (225 kgf.cm, 19 ft.lbf)

a. Remove the support (see REPLACEMENT

b. Horizontally fix the support in a vise with the piston-rod pulled out.

Centering bolts are used to mount the door hinge to the vehicle body and door. The door cannot be
adjusted with the centering bolts on. Substitute the centering bolts with standard bolts (w/washers) when
making adjustments.

2.ADJUST FRONT DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSY LH
a. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery.
b. Using SST, adjust the door horizontally and vertically by loosening the body side hinge bolts.
SST 09812-00010, 09812-00020
c. Tighten the body side hinge bolts after the adjustment.
Torque: 32.5 N.m (332 kgf.cm, 24 ft.lbf)

d. As shown in the illustration, horizontally and vertically adjust the door by loosening the door side
hinge bolts.
e. Tighten the door side hinge bolts after the adjustment.
Torque: 26 N.m (265 kgf.cm, 19 ft.lbf)

g. Adjust the striker position by slightly loosening the striker mounting screws and hitting the striker
with a plastic-faced hammer.
h. Tighten the striker mounting screws after the adjustment.
Torque: 23 N.m (235 kgf.cm, 17 ft.lbf)
i. Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery.
j. Initialize both systems (see INITIALIZATION
).
k. Inspect the SRS warning lamp (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
).
