O/D Main Switch Circuit
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The O/D main switch (transmission control switch) is a momentary type switch. When pressing the O/D main
switch once, the O/D OFF indicator light comes on and the ECM prohibits shifting into O/D. When pressing
it once again, the O/D OFF indicator light goes off and the ECM allows shifting into O/D. Turning the IG switch
OFF will reset the O/D OFF indicator light.

Shift Position L Switch Circuit
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The shift position L switch is a momentary type switch. When the shift position L switch is pressed while
driving with the shift lever in the 2 position, the L position indicator on the combination meter comes on and
the transmission is locked in 1st gear. When the switch is pressed again, the indicator goes off and the trans-
mission is released.
