Departure and Comfort Setup
Follow these steps to set departure timesand cabin comfort level.
1.Press the edit button for departure andcomfort on the charge settings screen.
2.Two time settings show for each day ofthe week on the departure timesschedule screen. Select any one.
3.On the Departure Times settings screen,set your desired time, cabin comfort leveland days of the week to repeat. PressSave.
4.Your settings are now shown on thedeparture times schedule screen. Pressback to return to the main charge settingsscreen. The next departure time andcabin temperature display.
Note:Cabin conditioning comfort level couldvary depending on whether you plug into anormal household outlet or a higher poweroutlet or charging station. The poweravailable for conditioning is limited to thecharging station power available. At lowambient temperatures and low chargepower, a small amount of high voltagebattery power in addition to the chargingpower could be used to heat the cabin.
Charging Locations
Press the edit button to setpreferred charging times for aspecific charging location.
Your vehicle prioritizes charging based onyour preferred time settings. You can set twopreferred charging time windows forweekdays and two for weekends. Thisfeature allows you to take advantage ofelectric utility rate plans that offer lowerpricing during certain times of day. Contactyour utility company to see what plans areavailable.
Note:Your vehicle charges during yourpreferred time windows. Charging outsidethese windows only occurs when additionalcharging time is needed to reach themaximum charge limit set for this locationby your next departure time. In this case, thevehicle begins charging right away afterplugging in.

Charging Location Setup

2.On the charging locations screen selectadd new location. You can also editsettings for previously saved locationslisted on this screen.
3.Select an address from the list of recentcharge locations.
4.Confirm that this is the location you wantto save with the help of the map view.Edit the location name if desired and seta maximum charge limit. Press continueto schedule.
Note:Depending on the GPS location, theaddress on the navigation may not preciselymatch up with your charging location.Confirm on the map that the pin is in theexpected location.
Note:Charging stops when your vehiclereaches the maximum charge limit setting.
5.Set preferred charging times for weekdayand/or weekend by pressing anddragging along the 24 hour time wheel.You can set up two blocks of time chargewindows. Press Continue once you haveyour desired time settings for weekdayand weekend
Note:Selecting all or none of the 24 hoursresults in any time of day given equal priorityfor charging.
6.The summary screen displays yoursettings for this location. Press save orpress back to change your settings.Whenever your vehicle is at a savedcharging location, the charge settingsscreen displays the location name, andthe charging times are based on yourpreferred time settings for that locationplus the next departure time.
Note:Reaching your max charge limit byyour next departure time is always thepriority. When charging time preferences areset, charging outside your preferred chargingtime windows could be necessary to finishby your next departure time. In this case, thevehicle begins charging immediately afterplugging in. Charging pauses when the restof the charge can be done within thepreferred charging windows.

This switch is visible when your vehicle is ata saved charging location. Use this switch toturn your settings off and on for this locationonly. Switching off for this location does notdelete your settings, however, you mustswitch back on to re-enable them.
Note:If the charging locations switch is off,the vehicle begins charging to 100% onceplugged in.

Your vehicle could shift when you fully pressthe accelerator or brake pedal.

Manually Shifting in Drive (D)
Use this feature to temporarily change gear.
Note:We recommend using this feature forengine braking or driving on hilly ormountainous roads.
•Pull any paddle to switch the feature on.
•Pull the right (+) paddle to upshift.
•Pull the left (-) paddle to downshift.
•Hold the (+) paddle for a few seconds toswitch the feature off.
Note:The feature switches off after a shortperiod of time if neither paddle is pulled.
TEMPORARY NEUTRAL MODE
WHAT IS TEMPORARY NEUTRALMODE
This mode keeps your vehicle in neutral (N),for a limited time, when you exit your vehicleor switch your vehicle off.
Note:Do not tow your vehicle in this mode.
HOW DOES TEMPORARY NEUTRALMODE WORK
Use this mode to keep your vehicle in neutral(N) when you exit your vehicle or switch yourvehicle off. For example, if you exit yourvehicle before an automatic car wash.
Note:You do not need to use this mode atan automatic car wash if you stay in yourvehicle with power on.
Note:Do not tow your vehicle in this mode.
Note:Automatic return to park (P) is delayedwhen your vehicle is in this mode. See WhatIs Automatic Return to Park (P) (page 261).
TEMPORARY NEUTRAL MODELIMITATIONS
Your vehicle could shift to park (P) after 30minutes, or when the vehicle battery chargelevel is low. Prolonged use of this mode cancause the 12 V battery to run out of charge.
Do not tow your vehicle in this mode. Failureto follow these instructions could result invehicle damage not covered by the vehiclewarranty.
ENTERING TEMPORARY NEUTRALMODE
1.Bring your vehicle to a complete stop.
2.Press and hold the brake pedal.
3.Power your vehicle on.
4.Shift into neutral (N).
