If yo u open the bonn etintheeve nt of an overheated drive sy stem or fire inthe engine compartment, thefo llow‐
ing situations may occur:
R You may come into contact with hot gases.
R You may come into contact with other escaping hot operating fluids. #
Intheeve nt of overheating or a fire inthe engine compartment, keep the bonn etclosed and call thefire
service. #
Allow theove rheated drive sy stem tocool down if the engine must be opened. #
Wait until the drive sy stem has cooled down. #
Make sure that the air supply totheve hicle radiator is not obstructed. Display messages and

peratures.
Drive sy stem po wer output is reduced. The yellow _ reduced po wer output warning lamp is lit.
Once the operating temp erature of the drive sy stem returns tonormal (e.g. af ter a short trip), the full output will be
av ailable again. The display message and theye llow _ reduced po wer output warning lamp will go out. #

If possible, stop theve hicle in the open air and ensure that all vehicle occupants get out.

trol. #
Do not continue driving. #
