Climate (8.4/8.4 NAV)
Too hot? Too cold? Adjust vehicle tempera-
tures hands-free and keep everyone comfort-
able while you keep moving ahead. (If vehicle
is equipped with climate control.)
Push the VR button
. After the beep, say

• Set driver temperature to 70degrees
• Set passenger temperature to 70degrees
TIP: Voice Command for Climate may only be
used to adjust the interior temperature of
your vehicle. Voice Command will not work to
adjust the heated seats or steering wheel (if

The Uconnect navigation feature helps you
save time and become more productive when
you know exactly how to get to where you

services, including 9-1-1 and Assist, will

An included trial and/or subscription is re-
quired to take advantage of the Uconnect
Access services in the next section of this
guide. To register with Uconnect Access,
press the “Apps” button on the 8.4-inch

You’re only a few steps away from using
remote commands and playing your favorite
music in your vehicle. To link your internet radio accounts:
1. Download the
Uconnect Access App on
your device.
2. Press the Via Mobile icon on the naviga- tion bar at the bottom of the app.
3. Press the app you’d like to connect to your vehicle.
4. Enter your login information for the se- lected app and press Link.

5. Next time you’re in your vehicle, enableBluetooth, pair your device and select the
Via Mobile app you want to play from the
Uconnect touchscreen to stream your per-
sonalized music.

• Once you download the app to your com- patible device, you will also be able to start
your vehicle and lock/unlock its doors from

to use your voice to send a personalized text

1. To send a message, push the Phone but-
ton
. After the beep, say: “Send
message to John Smith.” 2. Listen to the prompt. After the beep, dic-
tate the message you would like to send.
Wait for Uconnect to process your
message.
3. The Uconnect system will repeat your message and provide a variety of options
to add to, delete, send or hear the mes-
sage again. After the beep, tell Uconnect
what you’d like to do. For instance, if
you’re happy with your message, after the
beep, say “Send.”

say: Launch YELP.
2. Once the YELP home screen appears on the touchscreen, push the VR button
, then say: YELP search.
3. Listen to the system prompts and after the beep, tell Uconnect the place or business
that you’d like Uconnect to find.
TIP: Once you perform a search, you can
reorganize the results by selecting either the
Best Match, Rating or Distance tab on the top
of the touchscreen display.
SiriusXM Travel Link (8.4/8.4 NAV — US
Market Only)
Need to find a gas station, view local movie
listings, check a sports score or the5-day
weather forecast? SiriusXM Travel Link is a
suite of services that brings a wealth of infor-
mation right to your Uconnect 8.4 NAV sys-
tem. (Not available for 8.4 system.)

Siri Eyes Free — If Equipped
Siri lets you use your voice to send text
messages, select media, place phone calls
and much more. Siri uses your natural lan-
guage to understand what you mean and will
respond back to confirm your requests. The
system is designed to keep your eyes on the
road and your hands on the wheel by letting
Siri help you perform useful tasks.

To enable Siri push and hold, then release the
Uconnect Voice Recognition (VR) button on
the steering wheel. After you hear a double
beep you can ask Siri to play podcasts and
music, get directions, read text messages and
many other useful requests.Getting Started
Ensure Siri is enabled on your iPhone.
1. Pair your Siri enabled device to the ve-hicles sound system. Refer to “Uconnect
Phone” in “Multimedia” for a detailed
pairing procedure.

ensure your command is understood.

Do Not Disturb
With Do Not Disturb, you can disable notifi-
cations from incoming calls and texts, allow-
ing you to keep your eyes on the road and
hands on the wheel. For your convenience,
there is a counter display to keep track of
your missed calls and text messages while
you were using Do Not Disturb.
Do Not Disturb can automatically reply with a
text message, a call or both, when declining
an incoming call and send it to voicemail. Automatic reply messages can be:
• “I am driving right now, I will get back to
you shortly.”
• Create a custom auto reply message up to 160 characters.
NOTE:
Only the first 25 characters can been seen on
the touchscreen while typing a custom
message.
While in Do Not Disturb, Conference Call can
be selected so you can still place a second
call without being interrupted by incoming
calls.
NOTE:
• Reply with text message is not compatible with iPhones.
• Auto reply with text message is only avail- able on phones that supporting Bluetooth
MAP.
