DIESEL
Access
Quality of the fuel used for
Diesel engines

The Diesel engines are perfectly compatible
with biofuels which conform to current andfuture European standards (Diesel fuel which complies with standard EN 590 mixed with a
biofuel which complies with standard EN 14214)
available at the pumps (containing up to 7 %
Fatty Acid Methyl Ester).
The B30 biofuel can be used in cer tain Diesel engines; however, this use is subject to strict
application of the special ser vicing conditions. Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
The use of an
y other type of (bio)fuel(vegetable or animal oils, pure or diluted,
domestic fuel...) is strictly prohibited (risk of
damage to the engine and fuel system).

Electric adjustments
Switch on the ignition or star t the engine if the vehicle has gone into economy mode.
1.Adjustment of the seat cushion angleand height, and forwards-backwards
adjustment)Raise or lower the front of the control
to adjust the seat cushion angle. )Raise or lower the rear of the control
to raise or lower the seat.)Simultaneously raise or lower the frontand rear of the control in order to raise or lower the entire seat. 2.Adjustment of the backrest angle Move the control forwards or backwards
to adjust the backrest angle. 3. Adjustment of lumbar support This function allows you to independentlyadjust the height and level of lumbar support.
The electric functions of the driver's seat are active for about a minute after opening the
front door. They are deactivated about a minute after switching off the ignition and in economy mode. To reactivate them, switch on the ignition.

Storing driving positions
System which stores the electrical settings of
the driver's seat and door mirrors as well as
the head-up display settings. It enables you to store up to two positions using the buttons on
the side of the driver's seat.
Storing a position
using buttons M / 1 / 2

Switch on the ignition. )
Adjust your seat, the door mirrors and the
head-up display.
) Press button M
, then press button 1 or
2
within four seconds.
An audible signal indicates that the position
has been stored.
Storing a new position cancels the previousposition.
Recalling a stored position

) Briefly press button 1or 2to recall thecorresponding position.
An audible signal indicates the end of the adjustment. You can interrupt the current movement by pressing button M , 1 or 2
or by using one of the seat controls.
A stored position cannot be recalled while
driving.
Recalling stored positions is deactivated
45 seconds after switching off the ignition.

Welcome function

The welcome function assists entry and leaving
th
e vehicle.
After switching off the ignition and openingthe driver’s door, the seat moves back
automatically and then stays in this position,
ready for the next entry to the vehicle.
When switching on the ignition, the seat movesfor ward to the stored driving position.
When moving the seat, take care that no
person or object hinders the automatic
movement of the seat.
To activate or deactivate this function, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.

Head restraint height and angle adjustment
)To lower the head restraint, press thelug A
and, going beyond the stiff point,guide the head restraint downwards, then release the button at the desired position.)To raise the head restraint, guide it upwards to the desired position.)To remove the head restraint, press the two lugs B
and pull the head restraint upwards. )To put the head restraint back in place,
engage the head restraint stems in the
openings keeping them in line with the seat
back. Check that it has engaged by pulling it upwards.

The head restraint is fitted with a locking mechanism which prevents itfrom lowering; this is a safety device incase of impact.The adjustment is correct when theupper edge of the head restraint is level with the top of the head.Never drive with the head restraintsremoved; they must be in place andadjusted correctly.

Massage function
This function provides the driver with a back massage. It only operates when the engine is
running as well as in STOP mode of the Stop & Start system.
Activation
) Press this button.
The warning lamp comes on and the massage function is activated for a period of 1 hour. During this time, massage is performed incycles of 6 minutes (4 minutes of massage
followed by 2 minutes break). In total, the
system will per form 10 cycles.
After one hour, the function is deactivated, thewarning lamp goes off.
Deactivation
You can deactivate the massage function at any time by pressing thisbutton.

Rear seats
Outer rear seat head restraints
These have a high position (comfor t and safety), a low position (rear visibility) and canalso be removed.
T
o remove a head restraint:)pull the head restraint fully upwards, )then, press the lug A.
Never drive with rear passengers whenthe head restraints are removed; thehead restraints must be in place and in
the high position.


Folding the seat from the
boot
Each section of the bench seat (1/3 or 2/3) has
its own control to release the seat back and its seat cushion from the boot.
) Check that nothing is preventing the seat
back from foldin
g (head restraint, seat
belts, ...),) check also that no object on or under theseat could hinder its movement,
)pull the control from the boot and push the
seat backrest.

Folding the seat from
the rear
Check that no object, either on or underneath
the seat, could hinder its movement.
Returning the seat back to its original position
)Put the seat back in the upright position
and secure it, the seat cushion also returns
to its original position, )check that the red indicator, located at thecontrol 1 , is no longer visible,)refit the head restraints or put them back in place.
)Move the corresponding front seat
forwards if necessar
y, )check that the seat belt is positionedcorrectly on the side of the seat back, )place the head restraints in the low position
or remove them if necessary,
) pull the control 1
forwards to release the
seat backrest 2
then fold it forwards.
When returning the rear seat back to its original
position, take care not to trap the seat belts
and ensure that their buckles are positioned correctly.

Mirrors
Each fitted with an adjustable mirror glasspermitting the lateral rearward vision necessary for overtaking or parking. They can also befolded for parking in confined spaces.
Door mirrors

If the mirrors are folded using control A
,they will not unfold when the vehicle is unlocked. Pull again on control A.


The folding and unfolding of the door mirrors using the remote control can bedeactivated by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
Fold the mirrors when putting your vehicle through an automatic car wash.
The objects obser ved are, in reality, closer than they appear.
Take this into account in order to correctly judge the distance of vehicles approaching from behind.

Demisting - Defrosting
If your vehicle is fitted with heated mirrors, the
demisting-defrosting operates by switching
on the heated rear screen (refer to the "Rear screen demist-defrost" page).

Adjustment

Move control Ato the right or to the left to select the corresponding mirror. )
Move control Bin all four directions toadjust. )
Return control Ato the central position.



Folding



- Automatic: lock the vehicle using the remote control or the key.

- Manual: with the ignition on, pull control Arearwards.


Unfolding



- Automatic: unlock the vehicle using the remote control or the key.

- Manual: with the ignition on, pull control Arearwards.

The rear screen demistin
g - defrosting can onlyoperate when the hybrid system is active.
