When you operate or prog ram a garage door
with an integ ratedga rage door opener, per-
sons can become trapped or struck bythe
ga rage door if they stand wi thin its range of
mo vement. #
Always make sure that nobody is within
th era nge of thega rage door's mo ve-
ment. Before prog
ramming thega rage door opener, park
th eve hicle outside thega rage . Make sure that the
ve hicle is switched on but not star ted.

Release the pr eviously pressed button.

If indicator lamp 4does not light up or 0ash
gr een: repeat the procedure. #
Release all of the buttons.

Press the prog ramming button on the door
drive unit.
Initiate the next step within appr oximately
30 seconds. #
Press pr eviously prog rammed button 1,2
or 3 repeatedly until the door closes.
When the door closes, prog ramming is com-
ple ted.

Replace the batteries in remo tecont rol5. #
Hold remo tecont rol5 atvarious angles from
a distance of 1 cm to8 cm front of the inside

fo r at least 25 seconds before trying ano ther
position. #

% Deactivate tow- awa y protection in order to
pr ev ent inadver tent activation. If you deacti-
va te to w-awa y protection, collision de tection
will also be deactivated.

If th e area around vehicle senso rsor cameras
is co vered, damaged or dirty, cer tain driving
and saf ety sy stems cannot function co rrectl y.
There is a risk of an accident. #
Keep the area around vehicle senso rsor
cameras clear of any obst ructions and
clean. #
Have damage tothe bumper, radiator
gr ille or stone chipping in the area of the
front and rear wind owsre paired at a
qu ali/ed specialist workshop. Pa
rticular ly,ke ep the areas around the sensors
and cameras free of dirt, ice or slush
(/ page 372). The sensors and cameras must
not be co vered and the de tection ranges around
th em must be kept free. Do not at tach additional
licence plate brac kets, advertisements, stic kers,
fo ils or foils toprotect against stone chippings in
th e de tection range of the sensors and cameras. Make sure
that there are no overhanging loads
pr otru ding into the de tection range.
If th ere is damage toa bumper or thera diator
gr ille, or aTer an impact, ha vethe function of the
senso rschecked at a quali/ed specialist work-
shop. Ha vedamage or stone chipping in the area
of the cameras on the front and rear wind ows
re paired at a quali/ed specialist workshop.
