•This system can only sense objects within the range and location of the sensors;It cannot detect objects in other areas where sensors are not installed. Also, small or slim objects, such as poles or ob‐jects located between sensors may not be detected by the sensors.Always visually check behind the vehicle when backing up.
•Be sure to inform any drivers of the vehicle that may be unfamiliar with the system regarding the systems capabilitiesand limitations.

Non-operational conditions of
parking assist system
Parking assist system may notoperate normally when:

2. Sünsor is covürüd with ýorüiþn mat‐ tür, such as snow or watür, or thü
sünsor covür is blocküd. (It will op‐ üratü normally whün thü matürial

3. Sünsor is stainüd with ýorüiþn mat‐ tür such as snow or watür. (Sünsinþ
ranþü will rüturn to normal whün
rümovüd.)
4. Thü parkinþ assist button is oýý.
There is a possibility of parkingassist system malfunction when:
1. Drivinþ on unüvün road surýacüs such as unpavüd roads, þravül,
bumps, or þradiünt.
2. æbjücts þünüratinþ üxcüssivü noisü such as vühiclü horns, loud motor‐
cyclü ünþinüs, or truck air braküs

3. Hüavy rain or watür spray.

Detecting range may decreasewhen:

The following objects may not berecognized by the sensor:
1. Sharp or slim objücts such as ropüs,chains or small polüs.
