BOOT INTERNAL AERIAL
Check the condition and connection of the aerial connector (bent, broken tabs, etc.).
If the connector is faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A, Repairing electrical
wiring, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector; otherwise, replace the wiring.
Check the condition and connection of the PE3 connector of the UCH (tabs bent, broken, etc.).
If the connector is faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A, Repairing electrical
wiring, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector; otherwise, replace the wiring.
Check the insulation and continuity of the following connections to + 12 V and to earth:
●Connection code 26AV.
●Connection code 26AW between components 645 and 1397.
If the connection or connections are faulty and there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A, Electrical
wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring, otherwise replace it.
Replace the aerial if necessary.
If the fault is still present, contact Techline.
AFTER REPAIRCarry out another fault finding check on the system.
Clear the stored faults.
Deal with any other faults.

Check the condition and connection of the PE3 connector of the UCH (tabs bent, broken, etc.).
If the connector is faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A, Repairing electrical
wiring, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector; otherwise, replace the wiring.
Check the insulation and continuity of the following connections to + 12 V and to earth:
●Connection code 26AX.
●Connection code 26AY between components 645 and 1398.
If the connection or connections are faulty and there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A, Electrical
wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring, otherwise replace it.
Replace the aerial if necessary.

TRANSMITTER AERIAL FAULT FINDING
NOTESNo faults should be present or stored.
Special note:
This command is used to run fault finding on the internal and external transmitter
aerials on open circuit or short circuit to + 12 V.
This command takes 1 minute.
Use Wiring Diagrams Technical Note for MEGANE II or SCENIC II.
After activating the command, perform fault reading.
If one (or more) fault(s) concerning the aerials appear(s), refer to the processing of this (these) fault(s).
AFTER REPAIRCarry out another fault finding check on the system.
Clear the stored faults.
Deal with any other faults.

CHILD SAFETY LOCK INDICATOR LIGHT
NOTESNo faults should be present or stored.
This command is for testing child safety lock indicator light operation.
The command lasts 7 seconds.
Use Wiring Diagrams Technical Note for MEGANE II or SCENIC II.
The child safety lock switch light does not light up when the command is activated.
Check the condition and connection of the child safety lock switch connector.
If the connector is faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A, Repairing electrical
wiring, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector; otherwise, replace the wiring.
Check for + 12 V on connection BPT of component 135.
If the connector is faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A, Repairing electrical
wiring, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector; otherwise, replace the wiring.
Check the condition and connection of connector PE1 on the UCH
If the connector is faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A, Repairing electrical
wiring, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector; otherwise, replace the wiring.
Check the insulation and continuity of the following connection:
●Connection code 20T between components 645 and 135.
If the connection is faulty and there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A, Electrical wiring repair,
Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring, otherwise replace it.
If the fault is still present, contact Techline.
AFTER REPAIRCarry out another fault finding check on the system.
Clear the stored faults.
