resistance value is low, there is a short circuit i n the torque converter clutch solenoid and
diagnostic trouble code No. 48 is output. In additi on, if torque converter clutch solenoid
duty continues at 100% for 4 seconds or more, there is an abnormality in the torque converter
clutch control system and diagnostic trouble code N o. 49 is output. If the calculated slippage
amount (the result when the input shaft speed is su btracted from the engine speed) is 5
for ten seconds when the throttle position is 1.5 or higher and the output shaft speed is1,000 in the direct-coupled non-operating range, even th ough the torque converter clutchsolenoid is off, the torque converter clutch is stuck on and diagnostic trouble code No. 58
is output.
