The PKSB (Parking Support Brake) system can be changed between ON (ena-
bled) and OFF (disabled) on the center display.

3 Select [Parking support brake@ to change ON (enable)/OFF (disabled).
When the PKSB (Parking Support Brake) is disabled, the driving assist information
indicator illuminates.
When turned OFF (disabled), the PKSB (Parking Support Brake) will be disabled
and will not be enabled until the setting is changed to ON again in center display.
(The function will not be re-enabled by operating the engine switch.)

When the engine output restriction control or brake control operates, a buzzersounds and a message is displayed on the multi-information display, head-up
display *
and center display to alert the driver.
Depending on the situation, output restriction control operates to either limit acceleration or restrict output as much as possible.

RThe Parking Support Brake determines that a stronger-than-normal brake opera-
tion is necessary to avoid a collision.

This function will operate in situations such as the following if a vehicle is detected
in the traveling direction of the vehicle.

RThe rear camera sensor detects a pedestrian behind the vehicle while backing
up and the system determines that the possibility of colliding with the detected
pedestrian is high.
R The PKSB (Parking Support Brake) determines that a stronger-than-normal brake
operation is necessary to avoid a collision.
