•Place heavy objects on the seat.

SWITCHING THE HEATED SEATS ONAND OFF
The vehicle must be running to use thisfeature.
Press the heated seat symbol to cyclethrough the various heat settings and off.The more indicators that display, the warmerthe temperature of the seat.
Note:The heated seats may remain on afteryou remote start your vehicle, based on yourremote start settings. The heated seats mayalso turn on when you start your vehicle ifthey were on when you switched yourvehicle off.

If the engine falls below 350 RPM while theventilated seats are on, the feature turnsitself off. You need to reactivate it.
Note:The ventilated seats may remain onafter you remote start your vehicle, basedon your remote start settings. The ventilatedseats may also turn on when you start yourvehicle if they were on when you switchedyour vehicle off.
Automatic Climate Controlled Seats (If
Equipped)
When you switch the auto setting on, theclimate controlled seats switch between theheated seats and ventilated seats to matchyour climate control setting.

ADJUSTING THE HEAD RESTRAINT
Raising the Head Restraint
To raise the center head restraint, pull thehead restraint up.
Lowering the Head Restraint
To lower the center head restraint:
1.Press and hold the adjust and unlockbutton.
2.Push the head restraint down.
Folding the Head Restraint
1.Press and hold the fold button.
2.Pull the head restraint back up to reset.

Center Head Restraint
1.Pull the head restraint up until it reachesits highest position.
2.Press and hold the adjust and unlockbutton, and the unlock and removebutton.
3.Pull the head restraint up.
INSTALLING THE HEAD RESTRAINT
Align the steel stems into the guide sleevesand push the head restraint down until itlocks.
FOLDING THE SEAT BACKREST
WARNING: To prevent possibledamage to the seat or seatbelts, make surethat the seatbelts are not fastened beforefolding the seatback.
WARNING: When folding or unfoldingthe seats, take care not to get your fingerscaught between the seat backrest and seatframe. Failure to follow this warning couldresult in serious personal injury.
With the seat empty, pull the lever up to foldthe seat backrest forward.
UNFOLDING THE SEAT BACKREST
WARNING: When unfolding the seatbackrests, make sure that the seatbelts arenot trapped behind the seat.
WARNING: Make sure that the seatsand the seat backrests are secure and fullylocked in their catches.
Rotate the seat backrest up until it latches inthe upright position. It clicks when you lockit into position.
Reclining the Seat Backrest
With the seat occupied, pull the lever up torecline the seat backrest.

FOLDING THE SEAT BACKREST
WARNING: Do not fold a seat if it isoccupied. Failure to follow this instructioncould result in personal injury.
This feature operates when the vehicle is inpark (P) and the liftgate has been open forless than 10 minutes.
The controls are on the left-hand rear quartertrim panel and are accessible from theliftgate area.
Press and hold the left control to lower theleft seat backrest.
Press and hold the right control to lower theright seat backrest.

WHAT IS THE REAR OCCUPANT
ALERT SYSTEM
The rear occupant alert system monitorsvehicle conditions and notifies you to checkfor rear seat occupants when you switch theignition off.
HOW DOES THE REAR OCCUPANT
ALERT SYSTEM WORK
The system monitors when rear doors havebeen opened and closed to indicate thepotential presence of an occupant in the rearseat.
A message displays in the information andentertainment display screen and an audiblewarning sounds when you switch the ignitionoff after any of the following conditions havebeen met:
•A rear door is opened or closed whilethe ignition is on.
•You switch the ignition on within 15minutes of a rear door opening andclosing.
•You switch the ignition on within 15minutes of the alert having displayed orsounded.
REAR OCCUPANT ALERT SYSTEM
PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: On hot days, thetemperature inside the vehicle can risevery quickly. Exposure of people or animalsto these high temperatures for even a shorttime can cause death or serious heatrelated injuries, including brain damage.Small children are particularly at risk.
WARNING: Do not leave children orpets unattended in your vehicle. Failure tofollow this instruction could result inpersonal injury or death.
REAR OCCUPANT ALERT SYSTEM
LIMITATIONS
The system does not detect the presence ofobjects or passengers in the rear seat. Itmonitors when rear doors are opened andclosed.
Note:It is possible to receive an alert whenthere is no rear seat occupant, but alertconditions are met.
Note:It is possible to receive no alert whenthere is an occupant in the rear seat, if alertconditions are not met. For example, if a rearseat occupant does not enter the vehiclethrough a rear door.
Note:The audible warning does not soundwhen the front door is opened before youswitch the ignition off.
