rear-view
camera
image
is
shown,
it
is

sible
to
change
over
to
PDC
or,
if
required,
to

other
view
with
obstacle
markings:

Depending
on
the
equipment
version:
emergency
braking
function,
Active
PDC
Principle
The
emergency
brake
function
of
PDC
initiates emergency
braking
if
there
is
an
imminent
risk
of
a
collision.
GeneralDue
to
the
system
limits,
a
collision
cannot
be
prevented
under
all
circumstances.
The
function
is
available
at
speeds
below
walking
speed
when
driving
or
rolling
in
reverse.
Pressing
the
accelerator
pedal
interrupts
the braking
intervention.
After
emergency
braking
to
a
stop,
it
is
possible to
continue
a
slow
approach
to
the
obstacle.
To
approach,
lightly
depress
the
accelerator
and
rej
lease
it
again.
If
the
accelerator
is
depressed
for
longer,
the
vej hicle
pulls
away.
Manual
braking
is
possible
at
any
time.
The
system
uses
the
ultrasonic
sensors
of
PDC
and
Park
Assistant.

the
vehicle
is

The
area
next
to
the
vehicle
needs
to
be
scanned
again.

turning
circle

road

Once

steering
wheel
has
been
turned

yond

certain
angle,

one

to
a
fixed
display
of
the
area
in
front
or behind
the
bumper
or,
if
necessary,
to
a
flankview.
Movable,

perspective
If
the
movable
camera
perspective
is
selected,
a
circular
path
is
shown
on
the
Control
Display.
By
turning
the
Controller
or
using
the
touch
