This
chapter
describes
all
standard,
country-spejcific
and
special
equipment
available
for
themodel
series.
It
may
therefore
describe
equipj
ment
and
functions
which
are
not
installed
in
your
vehicle,
for
example
on
account
of
the
opj
tional
equipment
selected
or
the
country
variant.
This
also
applies
to
safety-relevant
functions
and
systems.
Please
comply
with
the
relevant
laws
and
regulations
when
using
the
corresponding
functions
and
systems.
Vehicle
key
General
Depending
on
the
vehicle's
equipment,
two
vehij
cle
keys
or
one
vehicle
key
and
the
BMW
display
key
are
supplied.
Each
vehicle
key
contains
a
replaceable
battery.
Various
settings
are
possible
for
the
button
funcj tions,
depending
on
the
equipment
and
the
najtional-market
version.
A
driver
profile
with
personalised
settings
can
be
assigned
to
a
vehicle
key.
To
provide
information
on
maintenance
requirej
ments,
the
service
data
is
saved
in
the
vehicle
key.
To
prevent
the
vehicle
key
from
being
locked
in,
take
it
with
you
whenever
you
leave
the
vehicle.

Persons
remaining
in
the
vehicle
or
pets
left

side
can
lock
the
doors
from

inside
and
lock themselves
in.
In
this
case,
the
vehicle

General
The
vehicle's
response
when
unlocked
with
the
vehicle
key
depends
on
the
following
settings:

only

driver's
door
and
the
fuel
filler
flap
or
all
vehicle
access
points
are
unj
locked
with
the
first
press
of
the
button.'xWhether
the
unlocking
of
the
vehicle
is
acj knowledged
with
a
light
signal
or
an
acoustic
signal.'xWhether
the
welcome
light
is
switched
on
when
the
vehicle
is
unlocked.'xWhether
the
window
can
be
lowered
further to
make
it
easier
to
get
in.
Unlocking
the
vehicle
Press
the
button
on
the
vehicle
key.
If
only
the
driver's
door
and
the
fuel
filler
flap have
been
unlocked
due
to
the
settings,
pressthe
button
on
the
vehicle
key
again
to
unlock
the
other
vehicle
access
points.
The
following
functions
are
also
carried
out:
'xIf
a
driver
profile
has
been
assigned
to
the
vej hicle
key,
this
driver
profile
is
activated
and
the
settings
saved
in
it
are
configured.'xThe
interior
light
is
switched
on
unless
it
was
switched
off
manually.'xFolded-in
exterior
mirrors
are
folded
out.
If
the
exterior
mirrors
were
folded
in
using
thebutton
in
the
interior,
they
are
not
folded
out
when
the
vehicle
is
unlocked.'xWith
anti-theft
system:
The
anti-theft
system is
switched
off.'xWith
alarm
system:
The
alarm
system

off.
Press
the
button
on
the
vehicle
key
twice
in
direct
succession
to
activate
comfort
entry.
Depending

the
settings,
the
window

further
when
opening
a
door.

of

front doors

lighting
functions
may

on

If
the
drive-ready
state
is
still
switched
on
when
locking,
the
vehicle
horn
sounds

feature
