Automatic mode
 In position 3 , press the control to begin closing the roof.
When the roof is completely open, the rear screen rests on the rear shelf. Do not place any object on the rear screen.
During automatic closing of the roof in zone A (position 2 to position 1 ), pressing the control stops the roof.
Complete closing of the roof between 1 and 0 can only be done in manual mode. Press and hold the control until the roof is heard to lock. If the roof does not lock correctly, it opens again by a few centimetres. With the engine running, operate the control again.
If the problem persists, contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
 Release the control: closing of the roof continues up to position 2 .  Between positions 2 and 1 , pressing the control beyond the point of resistance allows automatic closing of the roof to position 1 .  Between positions 1 and 0 , press and hold the control until the roof closes fully.
During an operation in zone B , an instruction to stop the roof is not possible. Pressing the control reverses the direction of movement of the roof, whichever direction the control is pressed. This "anti-panic" function allows a quick change in direction of movement of the roof in the event if suddenly required.

Aero-acoustic deflector Operating the roof when
driving
If a roof operation is started before the vehicle's speed is above about 70 mph (120 km/h), exceeding this speed limitation leads to the
following situations, depending on the type of roof operation in progress: - an operation in progress in zone A is stopped,
The roof opening and closing control operates up to about 70 mph (120 km/h). Above this speed, a message in the screen informs you that operation of the roof is not possible (speed too high).
An aero-acoustic deflector is available to improve the acoustic comfort of occupants of the vehicle in certain driving conditions (high speed), by reducing the turbulence in the passenger compartment resulting from the displacement of air. On opening the roof, the aero-acoustic deflector may be deployed if it is not secured. On closing the roof, the deflector folds away automatically.
 With the roof open, this deflector can be folded away manually and secured at its centre: press vertically down on the cross member near the paddle at the top of the deflector and clip this paddle in the cut-out.  To release and deploy the deflector manually, press vertically down on the cross member near the paddle to unclip it from the cut-out and pull it gently towards you.

Precautions for use
Never place objects on the roof, whether open or closed.
In the event of prolonged storage of the vehicle outside, it is recommended that the roof be protected with a cover.
To avoid damaging the roof, do not open it under snowy or frosty conditions. Never use sharp tools to remove ice or accumulations of snow on the roof. Never use scrapers or aerosol products to remove ice that may have formed on the rear screen. Avoid operating the heated rear screen when the roof is completely open (risk of overheating).
To limit the creation of folds in the roof fabric, it is recommended that the roof not be left open for long periods. Operation of the vehicle's air conditioning system is not recommended while the roof is open.
Never place objects on the transverse roof support when the roof is open.
It is recommended that the roof be closed when the vehicle is left parked. Even if the roof is closed, it is prudent not to leave any valuable objects inside the vehicle. When you leave the vehicle, remove the ignition key to avoid any unwanted operation of the roof.
If your vehicle has a voice command system, this may not work as well when driving with the roof open.
Protection of the roof opening and closing electric motors: during repeated opening and closing of the roof, the electric motors may become too hot and then no longer allow the roof to be opened or closed. Allow the motors to cool down by not operating the roof for ten minutes.

stopped and complete opening of the roof to position 3 is carried out automatically, - an opening or closing operation in zone Bfollowing an "anti-panic" function is continued through to completion.
A new operation of the roof will be possible as soon as the vehicle's speed drops below about 70 mph (120 km/h).

If the roof stops in zone B , a message in the screen will ask you to stop the operation of the roof immediately.  Press and hold the control:
- in the opening direction to reach position 3 , - in the closing direction to reach position 2 .
Reinitialisation
Do not release the control during the reinitialisation procedure.
Downgraded operation Operating fault
In the event of an electrical fault, contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
If the automatic roof operation mode is lost, the system must be reinitialised.  With the engine running , press and hold the control for closing the roof.  After about 5 seconds, the roof closes completely to position 0 . The roof is the reinitialised.
You must not drive when the roof is stopped in zone B .

Boot
Opening
 After unlocking the vehicle using the remote control or the key, press the opening control and raise the boot lid.
Closing
 Lower the boot lid by pressing on the middle of its finisher.
If the boot is not closed correctly:
- when the engine is running , this warning lamp comes on, accompanied by a message on the multifunction screen for a few seconds,
- when the vehicle is moving (speed above 6 mph (10 km/h)), this warning lamp comes on, accompanied by an audible signal and a message in the multifunction screen for a few seconds.
It is strongly recommended not to lower the boot lid by pressing on either end. If the boot is not fully closed, opening the roof in zone B is not possible. Check that the boot is fully closed.

If the roof is carrying out an opening operation in zone B , an action on the boot opening control causes the roof to close. The boot will be released when the roof reaches position 2 . You can then raise the boot lid.
Conditions for opening the boot with the roof in zone B
To avoid inter ference between the boot and the roof in zone B, opening the boot depends on the position of the roof.
If the roof is carrying out a closing operation in zone B , an action on the boot opening control has no effect on the roof operation, but the boot will only be released once the roof has reached position 2 . You can then raise the boot lid.
During an opening or closing operation of the roof in zone B following an "anti-panic" function, the boot opening control is inhibited. It will work again once the roof has reached position 2 or position 3 .
If the roof is position 3 , an action on the boot opening control causes the closing of the roof to position 2 . When the roof has reached this position, the boot lid will be released. You can then raise the boot lid.

System for mechanical unlocking of the boot in the event of a battery or central locking malfunction.
Unlocking
Emergency release
 Insert a small screwdriver into hole A of each lateral latch to unlock the boot.  Fold back the rear seat to gain access to the two latches, from inside the boot.
Before opening the boot, ensure that the roof is not in zone B .

The rear shelf is fixed .
Rear shelf
Before opening the roof completely, check that no object has been left on the shelf.
When the roof is fully open, the rear screen rests on the shelf. Do not place any object on the screen.
