Select "Map" and confi rm by pressing "OK".

GUIDANCE OPTIONS
Turn the dial and select the "Navigation guidance" function.
Press the MENU button.
Turn the dial and select the "Guidance options" function.
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
Turn the dial and select the "Defi ne calculation criteria" function.
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
Turn the dial and select, for example, the "Distance/time" function.
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
The route presented depends directly on the guidance options.
Changing these options may completely change the route.

SETTING RISK AREAS
ALERT PARAMETERS
Turn the dial and select the "Traffi c info" function if you wish to receive the traffi c information announcements.
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
Select "OK" and press the dial to confi rm.
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
Turn the dial and select the "Set risk area parameters" function, then press the dial to confi rm the warning message. Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
Repeat steps 1 to 5 of the guidance option.
These functions are only available if the risk areas have been downloaded and installed on the system.
Select:
- visual warnings,
- audible warnings with an announcement duration (in seconds),
- warn during guidance only, then select OK and press the dial to confi rm.

Tick this box for optimum operation of the traffi c information, diversions will be suggested.
The volume of the Risk Areas POI alerts can only be adjusted during the alert.

ACTIONS ON THE MAP
Turn the dial and select the "Map" function.
Press the MENU button.
Turn the dial and select the "Map details" function.
Permits selection of the services which can be seen on the map (hotels, restaurants, risk areas...).
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
MAP ORIENTATION
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 then turn the dial and select the "Map orientation" function.
Select "OK" and press the dial to confi rm.
Turn the dial and select the orientation of your choice.
For improved visibility, beyond the scale of 10 km, the map automatically switches to North Orientation.

CONFIGURING THE FILTERING OF
TMC ANNOUNCEMENTS
Turn the dial and select the "Traffi c information" function.
Press the MENU button.
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
Turn the dial and select the "Filter traffi c information" function.
Turn the dial and select the fi lter of your choice.
Select the "Geographic fi lter" function and press the dial to confi rm.
The fi lters are independent and one replaces the other.
We recommend:
- a fi lter of 6 miles (10 km) around the vehicle in heavy tra ffi c,
- a fi lter of 30 miles (50 km) around the vehicle or a fi lter on the route for motorway journeys.
Select "OK" and press the dial to confi rm.
The TMC (Traffi c Message Channel) messages provide information relating to the traffi c and the weather conditions, received in real time and C (Traffi c Message Channel) messages provide information C (Traffi c Message Channel) messages provide information

TMC MESSAGES
Turn the dial and select the "Traffi c information" function.
Press the MENU button.
Turn the dial and select the "Confi gure message announcement" function.
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
Select the "Read messages" tab.
Press the dial to confi rm the selection.
Select "OK" and press the dial to confi rm.
The Traffi c Information Messages will be read by the voice synthesiser.
Select the "New message display" tab.
The traffi c information messages are extended to the fi lters selected (geographic...) and can also be displayed when guidance is not active.
We recommend that you do not select the "New message display" tab for regions with heavy traffi c.
