Front foglamps
Turn the plastic protector a quar-
ter turn and pull out.
Disconnect the connector.
Press the lugs to disengage.
Pull out the bulb.
Bulb: H1 Front direction indicator
Turn the bulb holder a quarter of
a turn.
Bulb:
PY 21 W yellow.
Sidelamp
Rotate the bulb-holder a quarter
turn and pull.
Bulb: W 5 W. Side repeater direction indica-
tor
Push the housing towards the rear
to unclip it, then pull it towards
you.
Turn the bulb holder a quarter of
a turn.
Bulb:
WY 5 W.

Interior lamps
Unclip the transparent cover of the
interior lamp to reach the bulb.
Bulb:
W 5 W
Spotlamps
Unclip the cover of the interior
lamp, then if necessary the parti-
tion for the spotlamp concerned,
to access the bulb.

Boot lighting
Unclip the lens unit to access the
bulb.
Bulb: W 5 W Glovebox lighting
Unclip the lens unit to access the
bulb.

Unclip the headlamp to access

Identify the failed bulb
Bulbs:

From inside, pull back the access
cover
A, remove screws B and C
and then, from the outside, remo-
ve screw D.
Rotate the bulb-holder a quarter
turn and pull.
Proceed in the reverse order to
reit.

Third stop lamp
Remove the upper trim of the rear
tailgate by unclipping it, then di-
sengage the lamp-holder.
Bulb:
W 5 W (Bulbs). Rear number plate lamp
Unclip the lens then pull the bulb-
holder.
Bulb:
W 5 W.
After replacing a bulb,
check the correct operation of the lighting and signallin g.

We recommend you to have this device itted by a CITROËN Dealer,
who will be acquainted with your vehicle’s
towing capability and with the procedures necessary for install ing a safety item of this kind.
It is essential to install a CITROËN approved electronic unit when having a towbar itted, in order to prevent any
risk of malfunction or damage (risk of ire). S A F E T Y R E C O M M E N D A T I O N S
Towing (a caravan or boat etc.)
If the vehicle is climbing a steep
incline or the engine is overhea-
ting, certain functions become
unavailable (automatic gearbox
sequential control, air conditio-
ning).
Fuel supply cut-off
In the event of a serious collision,
a device automatically cuts the
supply of fuel to the engine.
The fuel warning lamp lashes,
accompanied by display of a mes-
sage.
To restore the supply:
- Switch off the ignition.
- Remove the ignition key.
- Check that there is no smell or leak of fuel.
- Insert the ignition key.
- Switch on the ignition and start the engine. Dimensions

Roof bars
Both for your safety and to avoid damage to its roof, your vehicl e is desi-
gned for the use of roof bars that are speciically tested and a pproved by
the CITROËN network.
To use the tranversal roof bars, disengage the four locking leve rs provided
for this purpose in the two pillars of each bar.
Slide them in their rails to the required position.
Lock the four levers in position.
Note: when the roof bars are not being used, position them as fa r back as
possible to reduce fuel consumption.
Respect the authorised load capacities.
For maximum loads that can be distributed on the roof bars, see: “General”. Removing and reitting roof
bars
- Remove the screw, along with
the itting and the two washers
at each location A.
- Bring the bars to the locations A , placing them correctly in the
slots.
- Slide the bars to the left hand side of the vehicle.
- Lift both bars to remove them.
- It is essential to reposition the
itting, screw and two washers at
each location A.
To reit, proceed in the reverse or-
der to removal.
Recommendations
• Spread the load evenly, avoid overloading one side.
• Keep heavy objects at the bottom of the load.
• Strap the load securely, and signal any overhanging load.
• Drive gently, the effect of side winds will be increased.
• Remove the roof rack or roof bars when not in use.

Tools
The toolkit is stowed in a housing
in the engine compartment.

bolts (if aluminium rim). Access to the spare wheel
The spare wheel is housed in a carrier under the rear loor.
The wheel carrier retaining screw is located inside the vehicle,
close to the
tailgate lock.
Raise the plastic cover A.
Untighten the nut, using the end of the wheelbrace 2, until the wheel is
resting on the ground.
Keep feet and hands clear of the carrier and spare whee l to prevent
the possibility of trapping them.
Tyre pressures
These are indicated on the label located inside the driver ’s door pillar, see
“VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION” and “USER PRECAUTIONS”.

Removal
- If possible, place the car on irm, level ground. Engage the
handbrake irmly.
- Switch off the ignition and engage 1st or reverse gear depe nding
on the incline (for vehicles with automatic gearbox, select the
P position).
- Position the jack at 1 of the four jacking points on the underside of
the vehicle adjacent to the wheels. Using the wheel brace, extend
the jack until it touches the ground.
- To remove the embellisher, insert the hooked end of the wh eel
brace 2 through the tyre valve aperture and pull on the metal
retaining ring (if alloy wheel rims are itted, use lever 4 to remove
the small centre embellisher).
- Slacken the wheel bolts using the wheelbrace (for vehicles wit h
light alloy wheels, use the socket to remove the anti-theft b olt).
- Extend the jack until the wheel is a few centimetres off th e
ground.
- Finish undoing the wheel bolts and remove the wheel.
To reit
- Fit the wheel onto the hub, making sure that it is correct ly
positioned.
- Screw in the bolts but do not fully tighten them.
- Lower the jack and remove it.
- Fully tighten the wheel bolts, using the wheel brace.
- Reit the wheel embellisher, aligning the tyre valve apertu re with
the valve, then pressing it home around its circumference.
- As soon as possible, reit the original wheel with the punctu re
repaired.
- Ensure the tyre pressure is correct (see “Tyre pressures”) and check the balancing. C H A N G I N G A W H E E L
Never get under a jacked up
vehicle unless it is correctly supported by axle stands.
The jack is designed speciically
for your vehicle, do not use it for other applications.
