7 - Air distribution
The windscreen, front side windows
and passenger footwells. The level of air low is represented on the display by
the progressive illing of the fan blades.
Note:
to avoid condensation and poor air quality in the
passenger compartment, it is recommended always to
maintain a suficient low of air.
Deactivation of the air conditioning
Turn the thumbwheel to the left until the display disap -
pears.
This adjustment, among other functions, deactivates
the air conditioning. Comfort is no longer assured.
Only rear screen demisting is available.
Reactivation
- AUTO button (the values already programmed are
preserved)
- MAX button
- rotate the thumbwheel.
Press AUTO to return
the system to its automatic function.
One press on the button(s) will direct the air low to
-
wards:
The windscreen and front side win-
dows.
The central vents and passenger
footwells.
The passenger footwells.

Heater blower control:
Turn the control to the right to increase, and to
the left to decrease.

9 - Visibility programme (max button)
To demist or defrost the windows rapidly (hu
-
midity, no. of passengers, frosty weather), the
“AUTO” programme may not be suficient.
10 - Adjustment of rear ventilation (REAR) or
equalisation of the adjustments of 3
and 4 to those made with the control
on the driver’s side (MONO)
Press the button, the ventilation symbol ap -
pears on the display. 11 - Adjusting the low of air to the rear
seat positions (sliding side door pillars
on right hand side and left hand side)
Then select the visibility programme by pressing the
“MAX” button.
The visibility programme warning lamp lights up.
This activates the air conditioning, the low of air and
the defrosting of the rear screen, for optimum sharing
of the ventilation between windscreen and side win -
dows. It deactivates the air recycling.
The air low adjustment thumbwheels for the 2nd row
lateral air vents are operational.
To deactivate the rear ventilation commands, press the
button again, the rear ventilation symbol goes out. If button
10 has been actioned, these thumbwheels
allow the 2nd row passengers to adjust their air low.
+/-: increase or decrease in air low.
AUTO: control of adjustments by front passengers.
0: stop.
12 - Demisting - Defrosting
While it is operating, the warning lamp lights
and the symbol appears on the display.
This control is for rapid defrosting or demisting of the
rear screen, it acts automatically on the low of air, the
distribution of air, the air conditioning and the entry o f
air.
To switch it off, give another press either on the same
button or on the “AUTO” button.

A - Spotlamps
A press on one of the buttons will switch the corresponding sp
otlamp on
or off.
They will not come on if the ignition is switched off or t he vehicle is in eco-
nomy mode.
Lighting of the row of seats on opening of a door
Note: for the last row of seats, lighting is prompted by opening of
the boot.
No lighting
Permanent lighting, provided the ignition is on.
Automatic lighting of interior lamps
- When you enter the vehicle:
They light up when you unlock the vehicle. When you open one of the front doors the front interior lamp comes on.
They go out 30 seconds after doors have been closed, or after the ignition has been switched on.
- When you leave the vehicle:
They come on when you remove the ignition key (for about 30 seco nds), or when a door is opened.
They go out after 30 seconds with the doors closed, or immediat ely the vehicle is locked.

For each row of seats, the control allows you to select the following func-

Upper glovebox
To open, press the control.
To close, press the centre of the
cover.
On the driver’s side , the glove
box has compartments for stowing
a pen, a mobile telephone, coins,
tokens and credit cards.
On the passenger’s side , there
are compartments for stowing a
pair of spectacles, keys, ive CDs
and four audio cassettes, or nine
CDs. Lower glovebox
This has a lock.
To open the glovebox, lift the han
-
dle.
The lap has various stowage pos -
sibilities.
It has three sockets for connecting
audio/video equipment (see Navi -
Drive instructions). Radio concealment lap
Lower the lap as far as possible
to lock it in place.
Press on the lap to raise it.
For safety reasons, the glove compartment should always be closed when driving.

Aircraft-style tray
The tray is itted behind the bac -
krest of the front seats.
(Do not forget to fold it in before
rotating the front seat). 12 V accessory socket
(Maximum power : 120 Watts)
This is located forward of the 3rd
row storage pockets to be acces
-
sible to the 3rd row passengers. Cigar lighter
Operates when the ignition is on.
Push in and wait a few moments.
The cigar lighter will release auto
-
matically. The cigar lighter will gra -
dually emerge for easy removal.
The cigar lighter socket can also
be used as a 12V accessory sup -
ply.
In this case the cigar lighter can
be stowed in the location A provi -
ded for the purpose.
Avoid using the shelf for heavy or hard items.
These could be dangerous if thrown around during hars h

Cupholder and ashtray
This pull-out pocket beneits from
lighting and contains a detachable
ashtray and up to two cupholders.
The detachable ashtray can be
installed in the can-holders of the
2nd and 3rd rows, in the seat bac -
krests when these are deployed
as tables, as well as on the litter
container. Front door storage
Includes a can-holder, a compart
-
ment for a water bottle or the mo -
vable liitter container, and ample
further space. Ventilated compartment
It can hold up to four cans.
Slide the partition located above,
to open or close the air supply.

Oddments tray on centre
console
This oddments tray should not be
used as an ashtray. Child monitoring mirror
This mirror allows the driver or
front passenger to observe all the
rear seat positions.
Mounted on a special pivot and
able to be retracted into its own
roof recess, it gives a panoramic
view of the rear of the passenger
compartment.Sun visors
Fold visors down to avoid dazzle
from ahead.
They can be disengaged from their
central ixing and pivoted over to
the side windows if required.
The passenger’s and driver’s sun
visors each have a mirror that can
be covered.
