MAKE SURE THAT THE TYRES ARE ALWAYS IN GOOD
CONDITION AND THE TYRE PRESSURES ARE CORRECT.
Refer to the pressures indicated on the tyre
pressure label on the driver’s door pillar.
See “Vehicle identiication”.
Warning
The wheel bolts are speciic to the type of wheel itted. If
the type of wheel
is changed, check with your dealer that the wheel bolts are co mpatible with
the new wheels.
Stowing the wheel
Secure the wheel in the carrier, valve uppermost.
Retighten the screw inside the boot, then put the plasti c blank A back in
place.
Stow the tools.
Wheel equipped with delation detection system
These wheels have tyre pressure sensors, have them repaired by a
CITROËN dealer.
Advice - Recommendations
To drive in safety, it is very important to make sure that the t yre pressures are always in conformity with the manu-
facturer’s recommendations. They should be checked regularly, every mo nth for example, systematically before
long journeys, not forgetting the spare wheel. These checks must be done when the tyres are cold as the pressures
increase as the tyre temperatures rise with driving.
Never reduce the pressure of a warm tyre.

Any repair or any change of tyre, on a wheel itted with
a sensor, should be carried out by a CITROËN Dealer.
The system may be affected from time to time by interference from radio transmissions on similar frequencies.
This function alerts you in the
event of a tyre being delated or
punctured. For this purpose, sen-
sors continuously monitor the
condition of the vehicle’s wheels.
This system does not absolve the
driver of the need to check the tyre
pressures regularly.

The SERVICE warning
lamp comes on and a
vehicle outline is dis-
played, accompanied
by a message and a
sound signal.
The wheel(s) concerned will be
shown lashing on the vehicle out-
line. Check the tyre pressures as
soon as possible.
Under-inlation warning
The STOP warning lamp
comes on and a vehicle
outline is displayed, ac-
companied by a messa-
ge and a sound signal.
The wheel(s) concer-
ned will be shown lashing on the
vehicle outline. Stop the vehicle
immediately, avoiding any violent
actions on the steering wheel or
brakes.
Puncture Change the damaged wheel (whether punctured or substantiall
y delated),
have the tyre repaired as soon as possible, then check the tyre pre ssure
as soon as you can after that.
The wheel affected will no longer be detectable by the alert system if it is
in the boot or undergoing repair. The spare wheel will n ot be monitored by
the alert system.
The SERVICE warning lamp comes on and a vehicle outline is
displayed, accompanied by a message and a sound signal. The
wheel(s) concerned will be shown as absent on the vehicle out-
line. If you have not changed a wheel, this information i ndicates
a malfunctioning of the system.
Consult the CITROËN network to have the defective sensor(s)
replaced.
The delation detection system is a driving assistance function wh ich does
not absolve the driver from the responsibility to be vigilant, or from the
need to check the tyre pressures regularly (see “Vehicle identiication ”).
This system does not absolve the driver of the need to check the tyre
pressures on a regular basis (see “Identiication”), to ensure that th e vehi-
cle behaves as it should and to avoid premature wear on the t yres, espe-
cially when the vehicle is being subjected to heavy loads or d riven at high
speeds.
Do not forget to check the tyre pressure on the spare whee l.
Wheel without sensor

Towing ring ixings are placed at the front and at the rear o
f the vehicle.
Unclip the cover using a coin, or with a tool such as a screwdrive r.
The ignition key should be in position “M” to retain steeri ng capabi-
lity.
Use a bar with a hook to attach to the towing eye as indi cated above.
If the engine is not running, the steering and
braking systems will not be power-assisted.
If you are towing another vehicle, the latter
must be free-wheeling (gearbox in neutral).

Advice :
In exceptional circumstances, it is
permitted to tow the vehicle at low
speed over a short distance (in
accordance with the local legisla-
tion in force).
In all other cases, the vehicle
must be transported by a trans-
porter.

Removable towing eye
The towing eye is removable : it
can be itted at the front or at the
rear of the vehicle. It is stowed in
