wind ow, swing it d own and move it sid eways. Vanity mirror (if equipped)
To use the vanity mirror, swing d own the visor and op en the c over.
Storage compartment
CAUTION
Always keep the storage compartment closed while driving to
reduce the risk of injury in the event of sudden stops or an acci- dent. Do not store spray cans, containers with flammable or corro-
sive liquids or any other dangerous items in the storage compart-ment.

CAUTION
When your vehicle is in the sun or a warm day, the inside of the
overhead console heats up. Avoid storing plastic or other heat-
vulnerable or flammable articles such as a lighter in the overheadconsole.

Cup holder
CAUTION
When not in use, always keep the holder stored while driving
to reduce the risk of injury in the event of a sudden stop or an accident. Do not pick up a cup from the cup holder or put a cup in the
holder while you are driving, as this may distract you and lead toan accident. Take care to avoid spills. Beverages, if hot, might burn you or
your passengers. Spilled beverages may also damage upholstery,carpets or audio equipment.

Front passenger ’s cup holder

The front p asseng er ’s c up hold er is b uilt in the lid of the c enter c on-
sole. To use the c up hold er, op en the lid b y slid in g it forward and un-
fold the arm. Ad just the op ening area b y slid ing th e lid forward or
rearward to fit the c up . When not in use, fold the arm and c lose the
lid . NOTE On models equipped with a center console arm rest extension, the front passenger ’s cup holder must be eliminated to provide

“ ON ” p ositions.
Setting the clock
To set the hour, p ress the “H ” b utton. To set the minutes, p ress the “M ”
b utton. To reset the minutes to “00 ” with a rad io time sig nal, p ush the
“ S ” b utton.
