The multi-information display
is used to display fuel effi-
ciency related information and
various types of driving-
related information. The multi-
information display can also
be used to change the display
settings and other settings.

Use the displayed values as a ref-
erence only.
Driving range
Displays driving range with remaining
fuel.
This distance is computed based on
your average fuel consumption. As a
result, the actual distance that can be
driven may differ from that displayed.
When only a small amount of fuel is
added to the tank, the display may not
be updated.
When refueling, turn the power switch
off. If the vehicle is refueled without
turning the power switch off, the display
may not be updated.
Current fuel consumption
Displays instantaneous current fuel
consumption.
Average fuel economy (after
reset)
To reset the average fuel economy dis-
play, press and hold the meter
control switch.
The average fuel economy display

start)
Displays the average fuel consumption
since hybrid system start.

• “Average Speed”: Displays the aver-
age vehicle speed since the display
was reset*
• “Distance”: Displays the distance
driven since the display was reset*
• “Total Time”: Displays the elapsed
time since the display was reset*
*: To reset, display the desired item and
press and hold the meter control
switch.
■Torque distribution (if
equipped)
Drive power put on each tire is dis-
played with a bar meter. The larger
the bar meter the larger the driving
power is displayed.
■Tire inflation pressure
Displays inflation pressure of each
tire.
■Meter display settings that can
be changed

The display changes in 8 levels accord- ing to the remaining charge amount of the hybrid battery (traction battery).

of hybrid battery (traction battery)
●The buzzer sounds intermittently
when the hybrid battery (traction bat- tery) remains without charging while the shift lever is in N, or the remaining
charge amount drops below a certain level. If the remaining charge amount drops further, the buzzer sounds con-
tinuously.
●When a warning message is shown
on the multi-information display and the buzzer sounds, follow the instruc-
tions displayed on the screen to per-
form troubleshooting.
■Trip information
1 Press the “MENU” button.
2 Select “Info” on the “Menu”
screen.
If a screen other than “Trip information”
is displayed, select “Trip information”.

Resetting the history data
The average fuel consumption his-
tory is divided by color into past
averages and the average fuel con-
sumption since the last updated.
Use the displayed average fuel
consumption as a reference.
The image is an example only, and may
vary slightly from actual conditions.
■Updating the history data
Update the latest fuel consumption by selecting “Update” to measure the cur-
rent fuel consumption again.
■Resetting the data
The fuel consumption data can be deleted by selecting “Clear”.
■Cruising range
Displays the estimated maximum dis- tance that can be driven with the quan-tity of fuel remaining.
This distance is computed based on your average fuel consumption. As a result, the actual distance that can
be driven may differ from that displayed.
■Drive information
1 Press the “HOME” button.
2 Select “Vehicle” on the “Home”
screen.
If a screen other than “Drive informa-
tion” is displayed, select “Drive info”.

age (green).

■Updating the history data
Update the latest fuel consumption by
resetting “Total average” on multi-infor- mation display to measure the current fuel consumption again.
■Resetting the data
The fuel consumption data can be deleted by selecting “Clear”.

3Gradually release the brake
pedal and gently depress the
accelerator pedal to accelerate
the vehicle.
■Stopping
1 With the shift lever in D, depress
the brake pedal.
2 If necessary, set the parking
brake.
If the vehicle is to be stopped for an extended period of time, shift the shift lever to P. ( P.197)
■Parking the vehicle
1 With the shift lever in D, depress
the brake pedal to stop the vehi-
cle completely.
2 Set the parking brake (P.200),
and shift the shift lever to P.

Check the parking brake indicator is illuminated.
3 Turn the power switch to OFF to
stop the hybrid system.
4 Slowly release the brake pedal.
5 Lock the door, making sure that
you have the key on your per-
son.
If parking on a hill, block the wheels as
needed.
■Starting off on a steep uphill
1 With the brake pedal depressed,
shift the shift lever to D.
2 Pull the parking brake switch
and parking brake is set manu-

3 Release the brake pedal and
gently depress the accelerator
pedal to accelerate the vehicle.
