2023 FORD MAVERICK Owners Manual

Pull up the window switch and hold withina few seconds of the window reaching thebounce-back position. The window travelsup with no bounce-back protection. Thewindow stops if you release the switchbefore the window fully closes.
LOCKING THE REAR WINDOW
CONTROLS
Press the control to lock orunlock the rear window controls.It illuminates when you lock therear window controls.
OPENING AND CLOSING THE
SLIDING WINDOWS (IF EQUIPPED)

The window control switch is on theinstrument panel below the climatecontrols.
Press and hold the window control switchto open the window. Pull and hold thewindow control switch to close thewindow.

MIRRORS

To adjust the mirrors, switch your vehicleon and place the ignition in accessory orstart.
1.Select the mirror you want to adjust.The control light turns on.
2.Use the adjustment control to adjustthe position of the mirror.
3.Press the mirror control again. Thecontrol light turns off.
Integrated Blind Spot Mirror
WARNING: Objects in the mirrorare closer than they appear.
Blind spot mirrors have an integratedconvex mirror built into the upper outboardcorner of the exterior mirrors. They canassist you by increasing visibility along theside of your vehicle.
Check the main mirror first before a lanechange, then check the blind spot mirror.If no vehicles are present in the blind spotmirror and the traffic in the adjacent laneis at a safe distance, signal that you aregoing to change lanes. Glance over yourshoulder to verify traffic is clear, andcarefully change lanes.

The image of the approaching vehicle issmall and near the inboard edge of themain mirror when it is at a distance. Theimage becomes larger and begins to moveoutboard across the main mirror as thevehicle approaches (A). The imagetransitions from the main mirror and beginsto appear in the blind spot mirror as thevehicle approaches (B). The vehicletransitions to your peripheral field of viewas it leaves the blind spot mirror (C).
FOLDING THE EXTERIOR
MIRRORS - VEHICLES WITH:
MANUAL FOLDING MIRRORS
Push the mirror toward the door windowglass. Make sure that you fully engage themirror in its support when returning it to itsoriginal position.

When your vehicle is running, theforward-facing portion of the appropriatemirror housing blinks when you switch onthe turn signal.

Opening and Closing the SunShade
The sliding shade can be manually openedor closed when the moonroof is closed.Pull the shade toward the front of thevehicle to close it.

The moonroof controls are located on theoverhead console and have a one-touchopen and close feature. To stop itsmovement during one-touch operation,press the control a second time.
Opening the Moonroof
Press and release the switch toactivate the one-touch openfeature. To stop movement,press the switch a second time.
Closing the Moonroof
WARNING: When closing themoonroof, verify that it is free ofobstruction and make sure that childrenand pets are not in the proximity of theroof opening.
Press and release the switch toactivate the one-touch closefeature, from either the open orvent positions. To stop movement, pressthe switch a second time.
VENTING THE MOONROOF

With the moonroof in the closedposition, press and release theswitch to vent the moonroof. Toclose the moonroof from the vent position,press and release the switch again.

MOONROOF BOUNCE-BACK
WHAT IS MOONROOF BOUNCE-BACK
The moonroof stops and reverses somedistance if it detects an obstacle whenclosing.
OVERRIDING MOONROOFBOUNCE-BACK
Press and hold the close switch within twoseconds after the moonroof comes to astop.
