If you believe that your vehicle has adefect which could cause a crash orcould cause injury or death, you shouldimmediately inform the NationalHighway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA) in addition to notifying FordMotor Company.
If NHTSA receives similar complaints, itmay open an investigation, and if it findsthat a safety defect exists in a group ofvehicles, it may order a recall and
remedy campaign. However, NHTSAcannot become involved in individualproblems between you, your dealer, orFord Motor Company.

Power Distribution Box
WARNINGS
Always disconnect the battery beforeservicing high current fuses.
WARNINGS
To reduce risk of electrical shock,always replace the cover to the powerdistribution box before reconnecting thebattery or refilling fluid reservoirs.
The power distribution box is in the enginecompartment. It has high-current fuses thatprotect your vehicle's main electrical systemsfrom overloads.
If you disconnect and reconnect the battery,you will need to reset some features. SeeChanging the 12V Battery (page 310).
