Folding the rear seatbacks (power seat)
Press and hold the fold switch until the rear seatback begins to operate.A buzzer will sound and then the operation will start. When the operation is com-
pleted, the buzzer will sound again.
To stop the operation partway, press either side of the switch for the operating seat.
Any rear seat operation switch for the op erating seat, regardless of location, can
be used to stop the operation. (A buzzer may sound depending on the position
that the rear seatback is stopped.)

Returning the rear seatbacks (manual seat)
Lift the rear seatback until it locks
in position.
Check that the plate of the seat
belt is on the front side of the seat-
back.
Using the seatback angle adjust-

When using the seatback angle adjustme nt switch: If the rear seatback is
reclined, adjust it to the most upright position and then press the switch again.1

Returning the rear seatbacks (power seat)
Press and hold the return switch until the rear seatback begins to operate.A buzzer will sound and then the operation will start. When the operation is com-
pleted, the buzzer will sound twice again.
To stop the operation partway, press either side of the switch for the operating seat.

back side of the seatback and fold

its original position, li ft it until it locks

To prevent the seat belt from being
damaged, hook it to the seat belt
hanger.

When entering/exiting the vehicle
Pull the seatback angle adjustment
lever A or B to tilt the seatback for-
ward and then slide the seat forward. Make sure that th e second-row seat
is free of passengers and obstruc-
tions before operating the seatback
tilt lever.

After passengers have entered/exited the vehicle

If the switch is released while the
seatback is operating, the seatback
will stop and a buzzer will sound con-
tinuously.■

The rear seatbacks can be adjusted when (power second-row seat)
■
Power switch mode conditions under which the rear seatbacks can be folded down or
raised
The rear seatbacks can be fold ed down or raised when the power switch is in either of
the following modes: ●
When the power switch is turned off or in ACCESSORY mode ●
When the power switch is in ON mode an d any of the following conditions are met:
• The parking brake is engaged.
• The brake pedal is depressed.
• The shift lever is in P. ■
The rear seatbacks can be folded do wn when (power second-row seat)
When all of the following conditions are met, a rear seat operation switch can be used to
fold down the rear seatback:

The other seat operation switch for the se at to be operated is not being pressed.When the rear seatback is in a position within
the range A shown in th e illustration, the rear
seat operation switch (r ear seat) can be used to
adjust the rear seatback.
●
When using the rear seat operation switch
(rear seat): The rear se atback is in a position
within the range A shown in the illustration
with the rear door nearest to the seat to be
operated open ●
When using the rear seat operation switch
(luggage compartment): The rear seatback is
in a position within the range B shown in the
