Warning / indicator lampStateCause Action / Observations
Brakes Fixed. A minor fault with the braking
system. Drive carefully.
Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop as soon as possible.
Fixed. The brake fluid level has
dropped significantly. You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
Top up with brake fluid approved by PEUGEOT.
If the problem persists, have the system checked by a

distribution (EBFD) system has

has a fault. The vehicle retains conventional braking.
Drive carefully at reduced speed and contact a

(DSC/ASR) Flashing.
The DSC/ASR regulation is
operating. The system optimises traction and improves the
directional stability of the vehicle in the event of loss
of grip or trajectory.
Fixed. The DSC/ASR system has a
fault. Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.

message displayed. One or more minor faults for
which there is no specific
warning lamp have been
detected. Identify the cause of the fault using the message
displayed in the instrument panel.
You can deal with some problems yourself, such
as a door open or the start of saturation of the
particle filter (as soon as the traffic conditions allow,
regenerate the filter by driving at a speed of at least
40
mph (60 km/h), until the warning lamp goes off).
For any other problems, such as a fault with the tyre
under-inflation detection system, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualified workshop.
Fixed, accompanied
by the display of a
message. One or more major faults for
which there is no specific warning
lamp have been detected. Identify the cause of the fault using the message
displayed in the instrument panel; you must then
contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.

Flashing. You are about to cross a broken
lane marking without operating
the direction indicators. The system is activated, then corrects the trajectory
on the side of the lane marking detected.

Airbags Temporarily on. This warning lamp comes on for
a few seconds when you turn on
the ignition, then goes off.
This warning lamp should go off when the engine is started.
If it does not go off, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Fixed.One of the airbag or seat belt
pretensioner systems has a fault. Have them checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Under-inflation
Fixed. One or more wheels has
insufficient pressure. Check the pressure of the tyres as soon as possible.
This check should preferably be carried out when the
tyres are cold.
+ Flashing then fixed,
accompanied by the
Service warning lamp.The tyre pressure monitoring
system is faulty.
Under-inflation detection is no longer assured.
Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Passenger's
front airbag Fixed, in the seat belt
and passenger's front
airbag warning lamps
display. The control switch, located in
the glove box, is set to the "
OFF"
position.
The passenger's front airbag is
deactivated.
You may install a rear ward
facing child seat, unless there is
a fault with the airbags (airbag
warning lamp on). Set the control to the "
ON" position to activate the
passenger front airbag. In this case, do not install a
rear ward facing child seat on this seat.

remains approximately 6
litres
of fuel in the tank. You must refuel as soon as possible to avoid running
out of fuel.
This warning lamp will come on every time the
ignition is switched on, accompanied by a message
and an audible signal, until a sufficient addition of fuel
is made.
This audible signal and message are repeated with
increasing frequency as the fuel level drops and
approaches "0".
Fuel tank capacity: approximately 56
litres.
Never continue to drive until you run out of fuel as
this could damage the emission control and injection
systems.
Engine
diagnostic
system Flashing.
The engine management system
has a fault.
There is a risk that the catalytic converter will be destroyed.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Fixed.The emission control system has
a fault.The warning lamp should go off when the engine is started.
If it does not go off, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop without delay.

Diesel engine
pre-heatingFixed.
When the ignition is switched
on with a key in the ignition
switch or a starting instruction is
made using the "START/STOP"
button, the engine temperature
makes engine pre-heating
necessary. The period of illumination of the indicator lamp is
determined by the ambient conditions (up to about
thirty seconds in severe winter conditions).
With an ignition switch and key, wait until the indicator
lamp goes off before starting.
With

K
eyless Entry and Starting, once it goes off,
starting is immediate, on the condition that the brake
pedal remains pressed with an automatic gearbox.
With

K
eyless Entry and Starting, once it goes off,
starting is immediate, on the condition that the clutch
pedal remains pressed with a manual gearbox.
If the engine does not start, switch the ignition off and
then on, wait until the indicator lamp goes off again,
then start the engine.
